The best website to get answers to almost any imaginable biblical topic. Very balanced answers that consider different opinions while being very clear on important topics. Several articles have its own videos for people that prefer that.

Got Questions has been a very helfpul site for me over the years. When you search for a question, they give you multiple options for potential subjects/answers. If you're question isn't answered, you can move forward with submitting your own question. Answers are received back promptly and are usually fairly straightforward and direct. You even have the option to ask follow-up questions. Based on their website information, many of their writers hold graduate level degrees in theology or closely related disciplines, which lends credibility to what they're providing you. It shouldn't take the place of your local pastor/elders as your initial spiritual guides, but it can be a very helpful website when trying to learn more about a whole host of subjects/issues and a great place to begin getting answers to your specific questions. I definitely reocmmend them.

First off, I love the simplicity of the website yet the diversity of topics. Most importantly the articles are backed up biblically. I can't imagine they don't get backlash from many because of this very thing. Jesus was hated, the truth is hated and those who proclaim the Truth will be hated! Yet those who love the Lord and his Word, especially those who seek the Truth yet are unable to find anyone in their area to ask biblical questions, will appreciate GotQuestions! It was invaluable to me early in my walk when there was not another Christian to be found in my area and I had so many questions! I'm thankful for what the Lord has done through this website and for those faithfully serving behind it.

They give false information, "There is certainly quite a bit in Scripture about Satan and his horde of demons. There is little said about deliverance from them, and nothing said about deliverance as a "ministry." You said little said about deliverance, 1/3 of Jesus's Ministry was deliverance, look at the people with demons nowadays in our world, including some Pastors. I would never come to this site again, because they serve the devil with there information.

This site is extremely informative & well constructed. If you are interested in learning more about the Word of God, or just about the world around you in general, then this is the place for you. It doesn't matter who you are or where your from, God's divine love & incomprehensible holy nature can be readily taken in & understood by the wisdom He gives freely to all those who ask for it, & I am firm in my belief that Got Questions Ministries is a form of that Heavenly wisdom. If memory serves, arriving to the conclusion that life in this world from a surface perspective was pointless & vain. Pondering a higher purpose for life, I decided to follow the (real) Holy Bible (KJV), & I got personally saved at age 22, back in 2014. I was already in tune with the higher Being known as God years prior, & only knew but a hint of the wide range of knowledge that was always constantly available at my fingertips, but never actually laid a finger on. However, being a new believer & all, I inevitably had more deeper questions that needed attention, before my faith could truly excel any higher. I prayed about it, & lo & behold, along came this blessed organization with their vast library of biblical knowledge bursting at the scene, oooh Got Questions you come over here, let me give you a full on 2 minute hug. I am by new nature a knowledge seeker, & actually fell in love with this "site", at first "sight". Lets get something out of the way before I proceed any further, for those who are genuinely interested in knowing & understanding more about God's holy word, & are in full agreement with God's ways, despite what our finite minds may tell us otherwise, will indeed be greatly satisfied, & enlightened to the point of spiritual security. As for the non-believers who have only come to criticize, & not actually try to understand the truth of things, will always be stuck, because they do not actually want to be delivered, or change their lives for the better. Moral change can be a very scary concept for the people of the world; lets not forget. There is a saying: "no amount of evidence or proof will satisfy the faithless". God & His Word requires faith (which means trust & dependency) in order to be fully received in all its glory. This is a "closed off harden heart" issue, & not necessarily a "lack of knowledge" issue, but of course even the most stubborn of hearts can be evangelize & reconciled unto God, if they are "willing" to believe on the Son of God for salvation, the apostle Paul is the best example of this. Now back to our original program, this organization is very precise & fact orientated, only interested in the cold hard truth, which can dissuade those who seek after a more "sprinkles on top" approach. The authors take great care to reveal understanding about verses that have been misconstrued, by simply breaking down these verses in way of: who the author was, who the audience were, the purpose of the written scripture, the different meaning of terms & phrases, the way people conversed in their native language, the customs of a nation or people in those days, the dates & timelines of events, the inclusion of ancient past "BC" to the modern day era "AD", & so on. You can ask any question in relation to the Holy Bible that concerns you, although am sure that every type of question has already been asked & answered, with almost 7,000 inquiries; leaving you with the very simple task of opening the app, & just scrolling through to whatever subject you would like to be extendedly educated or reeducated on. The information in this website leads you to believe that they are quoting scripture and teaching from the Bible, but they are doing the exact opposite. If you read very closely, they substituted in their own words while trying to make you believe the words are biblical. Words like, what God is saying here is that there is a "life for life" consequence. This site is all opinion based with biblical verses mixed in to try and deceive.

If you think about it - how narcissistic can you be to claim that if you got a question about anything Bible related - doctrines, interpretations, even global warming and LGBTQ then by golly "we have got the answers". Not to mention that they are only representing the Calvinistic protestant view of Christianity and that not even the early church fathers (those who lived closest to the time of Christ and spoke the early ancient Greek for that day) agreed about every interpretation or Biblical construct in the Bible. They actually believe that God is the one who set them on this path and the Holy Spirit has given them a special ability to know exactly what every verse in the Bible means even though there are hundreds of translations (and mistranslations) and over 30,000 denominations of Christianity in America and do not forget the fact that Bible was written in ancient and classical Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic. Yet they know the answers to the most debated, ambiguous and mystifying book on this planet.

Most of the negative insights are from not believers or people that don't like the truth told boldly and not sugar coated. Love what this website has help me with. Thank you GQ

Got Questions claimed to have compassion and empathy, but their so-called answers completely lacked compassion and empathy! They were very condescending and hurled nothing but insults, not Christ-like at all, period! With the attitude they gave me, should Got Questions really be surprised that so many people are "anti-God" and "anti-Christian" these days? Because their attitude sure wouldn't help anyone with such sentiments.

No words to express the magnitude of what GQ has meant to me when a new believer. When no one in my corner had the answers or discernment I found it on GQ. Such a blessing to my growth.

One of the pastors at my church was talking about some of the dangers of online bible-answering sites. Then he held up a piece of paper with the words GOTQUESTIONS written across the top and said, "THIS IS ONE OF THE GOOD ONES". I couldn't agree with him more! Every person I know who uses this site, and every person I've introduced to this site, considers it to be a treasure chest of Bible knowledge and application to life. I like to share the wealth that's found on this site rather than keep it all to myself!

What I like best about Got Questions Ministries website is that they do not waste your time. Any search term brings up multiple articles that are the perfect balance of being comprehensive but brief. This is what I mean by Internet-optimized. This is my go-to site for questions about the Bible and/or the Christian culture. If you don't find what you want through your searches, every page contains links to other resources. (I am the Director of a sister ministry, mainsailministries.org.)

I had a ton of questions on the Bible, and Got Questions literally answered all of them. Their database of questions, which numbers in the thousands, covered pretty much everything I was looking for. Their videos helped as well.

This site provides Biblically based answers to even the most difficult questions. Many questions are already answered and any question can be posed to the staff

I have yet to receive an answer that wasn't thoroughly researched and explained in a way that's easy for the layperson to understand. I know I can trust Got Questions for unbiased, biblical answers.
