This product was not properly packaged for shipment via UPS. When I removed the unit from the box, the element was not secured in the fixture.
All of the "holders" had come out of the base, and the entire element shifted to one end enough that one end was no longer being supported by that white plastic piece. It took me quite a bit of time to correct these problems - some foam or even newspaper inside the fixture could have prevented what occurred during shipment, and saved me time.
Thankfully when I eventually got the unit installed, it appears to be functioning correctly - we will know better after the weather turns cold here again.

I had previously bought 9 of these for my whole house. One of them was accidentally broken and the local store said they had only carried them as a promotional item. So I got online and in less than a minute found Gordon's Elec. Supply. So I made my order and just a few days later they arrived. Very happy and I even ordered a couple of extras just in case another one gets broken by accident.
