This is our first puppy and we couldn't be happier with the experience we've had with North Florida Poodles and Doodles. From the first interactions with Cathy, she has been attentive and accommodating. She made sure that we knew everything we needed to when selecting our puppy, provided weekly updates and prepared us for pick up day. Thank you so much Cathy! We are almost ready for a second! :)
I was leery at first and didn't know what to expect but kept looking until I found my fur baby. I worked closely with a pre-vetted breeder who communicated frequently, answered my questions, shared pictures and videos, gave me periodic updates, etc. It was nice knowing GoodDog had me covered from my down payment to the final payment and receiving my pup. I truly had a great experience!
We picked up Quincy and Cooper on March 25 and they are sooo awesome and cute! Good Dog handled all of the money transfer with the breeder. Totally seamless! We love them!
I was able to find a puppy quickly and breeder, Renita, has been awesome to work with. She responds to my questions quickly and sends weekly updates with pictures and videos.
Brooke was readily available to answer all my questions as I waited for my new puppy. She also sent me updated pictures and videos.

Good dog is PAWSOME! You get to be directly connected with the breeders and everything is just safe and secure (payments wise) you don't have to worry about any scams or any issues like that.
Just have some research on the type of dog you're trying to bring home, make sure they work for you, start searching, talk to breeders and go from there!
Absolutely no pressure into buying a dog, or getting the first one you see.
Browse, talk to breeders, don't be afraid to ask questions and GO WITH SOMEONE YOU feel comfortable with etc.
Most of the breeders (as good dog mentions) are screened before hand as well, so, i don't personally think you'll run into any "issues" per-say. It's just simply, like the pups, one breeder just may "work" better for you vs another (aka maybe more knowledge and communication you're looking for vs another breeder etc.) but i wouldn't say any of the breeders are "bad" or don't care about their pups.
They just simply wouldn't be on Good Dog. So, That's where you can feel safe and just assured. You will get a healthy puppy and generally most breeders encourage staying in touch. So, you kind of make a new family friend in the process as well (of course, however open of a person you are, absolutely no obligations to "keep in touch" or update the breeders afterwards but it IS encouraged). Most breeders are very helpful too. My specific breeder did NOT have the option of transporting the pup, BUT after contacting them, they were super awesome enough to work with me and we made it happen.
Point being, don't be afraid to just TALK to the breeders and ASK questions. You may be very surprised to find out, they will work with you, and getting the pup you're looking at may be easier than you think!
Great option for whatever dog you're looking for. As long as you're financially able to do it (personally, if you're already coming to this site, complaining about prices, imho, you're not "financially" ready for another "life" and please don't take a doggo home if you're not ready or able to support it) there really is no "issues" with this site. You can pretty much find any dog you want, you work directly with the breeder, can select whatever options for you (for pick up) and sometimes even get to meet the breeder and the mommy and daddy of your said pup!
A dog is another life, they are pricey but it's a "lifelong" commitment. So, please just be financially able to take care of the pups before using this site.
Other than that, phenomenal experience.
I just bring the "price" stuff up because you can look at some google reviews (as an example) and people give this app a bad or negative review because of something like that? Kind of make this app's "ratings" misleading.
From my personal experience (We went with a Cane Corso) we just didn't understand that, why rate a site or an app, that does what it's supposed to do, just because idk "you" can't afford it or think it's to high of a price? All i can say to that, is a Cane Corso, is NOT CHEAP and unless you want that dog to be unhealthy, unhappy and just not properly taken care of, guess what? They can literally cost you up to a CAR (sometimes more, depending on vet visits and if they need anything serious etc) in yearly expenses.
My point being, it's a COMMITMENT! If you think it's just dropping the $800-3k etc and call it a day. Then please, RECONSIDER getting a pet in general.
It's truly not right for the puppy.
The app\website delivers on what "It" is supposed to do, as long as you're a responsible owner and are just truly looking for a pup to love and give a happy forever home, then you will NOT have a bad experience with good dog.
I knew I would find my sweet baby, I was unsure how. I searched Good Dog and it was easy, safe as far as pay, and it was an overall great experience. I wish though I could praise the breeder on his listing to where more people would get a clear picture of whom they are dealing with. My puppy came completely potty trained. Kudos to John

I was nervous in the beginning but after reaching out to Michelle she responded quickly and continued to answer my questions after I received our fur baby. We have been scammed in the past but this process was easy and stress free. We love our new edition to the family and will use the site and breeder again.

We got the greatest puppy from Danielle. She was lovely to work with and you can tell she really loves her animals. She gave us great information before we made our decision and was professional throughout the process. I cannot speak highly enough of the breeder but that doesn't begin to explain how happy i am with our new baby! He's happy, healthy, smart and well adjusted. You can tell he came from a loving home and joined our loving home seamlessly. He is a God send. Thank you!

The breeder, Angel Causby, is excellent and the puppy we received is perfect. All of our questions were answered almost immediately. We purchased our puppy long distance, but could not have been better if we were local.
