I contacted a couple of breeders on GoodDog.com and one of them was KZAAM Golden Retriever (Patty Byler). Since we have had 7 Golden Retrievers before I am trained in how to select a puppy. You always look at the parents to see how they are. You would be surprised at what you will find out there with breeders that are not very good. So, I always ask the Breeder to provide pictures of the male and female parents. I require a picture of the dogs in the standing position with one pic of the side view and one of the front. Looking at both parents like this will give you a good idea on what the pup will look like when they are an adult. There is nothing like seeing both parents for yourselves. This way you can see the disposition of the dame/sire. If this is not possible, go with the pictures. This method of selecting a
pup has always given us great Golden Retrievers that look like the Goldens they use on TV. When I insisted Patty to provide these pictures she finally said that she was not good with letting us have one of her pups. My response to her was, without the pics we would not purchase a pup from her. Just thought anyone looking for a purebred dog should know this before looking for a purebred pup.
My experience with Good Dog has been excellent! Initially, I had no idea this site even existed and in fact, stumbled upon it inadvertently while looking for Goldendoodle breeders online. Admittedly, I was somewhat concerned about using such a site but after reading numerous reviews of the breeders represented and by the the site itself I felt confident enough to adopt my darling, Goldendoodle puppy, from Trisa of Forever Yours Goldendoodles. The entire process was lovely. I am so happy to have found Good Dog and to have found such a sweet, beautiful GoldenDoodle puppy who is without a doubt, the puppy of my dreams! In my experience I have found the Good Dog Site to be trustworthy, informative and just plain excellent!
Hello my name is Angie I was working with Jessica at Bartelt Breeders in Arkansas for quite awhile. She was very nice and answered all my questions. She was aware I was only interested in 1 dog named Shine. We had already discussed her being brought to me on July 5,2024 because she had another dog to drop off in Richmond VA on July 4,2024. On June 10,2024 we agreed we would FaceTime with Shine on the 11th. The next evening and she would give me the vet records and then I would make my deposit. When I called she did not answer and sent me a text saying someone put a deposit on Shine 15 minutes before our call and she has to honor that! Then she back tracked in saying she got the deposit on June 8,2024, which is the same day she asked me to fill out the application. Needless to say I was and still am shocked by the turn of events.Shine was always listed as available until she texted me that night. I'm very disappointed. I don't know if this is unethical or fraudulent but at the very least inconsiderate and unprofessional.
I have sent documentation to Tim Griffin, Attorney General Of Arkansas, Consumer Protection, Good Dog, Continental Kennel Club and BBB serving Arkansas. I feel the public should be aware of this. Obviously it was a lot of wasted time only to be left upset and disappointed.

Well after searching several websites and different apps that took me to several States throughout the US a lady at a pet store mentioned the Good Dog app. I was surprised to find the beautiful little puppies I was looking for so close to home. I didn't trust some of the other people I was considering and a few never even gave their names and were all eager for me to send money.
After finding our Baby Boy@ Rose Petal Corgis and knowing she was only about 35 minutes away I decided to go with her baby. He is exactly what we wanted we got to meet him before he was old enough to come home. She was very nice and kept me updated on his health and how his days are going. I found Hood Dog while searching for Yorkie breeders near me. The website was easy to navigate and right away I found the puppy I wanted from a reputable breeder. The Good Dog staff was super helpful as I made contact with the breeder and kept their support throughout the puppy purchase process too, with several follow up emails, information about training and insurance, etc.
If you're a dog lover, I strongly advise against visiting this site. Despite claiming to screen and feature reputable breeders, it's actually overrun by backyard breeders lacking proper registration for their dogs. Most "breeders" fail to provide pedigrees, refuse site visits, or even a simple FaceTime to show the animals' living conditions. Some breeders constantly advertise new litters every month, questioning the integrity of their breeding practices. Promoting such breeders, despite boasting about careful screening and care for animal welfare, is completely unacceptable. It's better to seek out local breeders, conduct your personal vetting, and trust your instincts. Be wary of sites that promise "secure transactions" while facilitating transactions for unscrupulous breeders preying on unsuspecting customers. These practices are misleading and should be legally challenged. If you've been affected by these scams or offered merely a partial refund, please reach out to me.

I purchased a Belgian Malinois through this site and requested training for which I paid Mychelle Stratton an additional $1,500. Training was to include house breaking, socialization, and obedience. The only thing the dog was taught to do was bite. He was not house broken, he was scared and skittish around other animals and people and had no concept of obedience. When Mychelle delivered the dog the only 'toy' he had was a bite sleeve.
I requested vaccination information for the dog but had to fight to get it sent. I question whether the paperwork emailed was actually on the dog I purchased. By then I had already started the vaccinations with my local vet.
Additional training was needed so I contracted a local trainer here in El Paso to train the pup. A 4 week training program has been extended to 7 weeks trying to undo the damage Mychelle's program caused. Even then additional training is necessary. One thing I learned about this breed is you don't teach them bite work as a puppy unless you are training them police or military jobs. Belgians instinctively know how to bite…the trick is teaching them not to. After all the time and money I have invested in this animal I am uncertain that I will be able to keep him. I cannot condone an animal that bites!
I don't have a receipt for the purchase but I do have the number where Apple Pay was used on 1 Mar 2024 to Mychelle Stratton. That can be provided if needed.

They are very shady about protecting bad breeders and their on-boarding process is VERY discriminatory! They won't accept my breeding program because I can't link them to instagram/Facebook or whatever. I DO NOT USE social media. I have AKC, indoor raised, genetic tested, vet checked pups coming soon but they will not approve me, likely due to my complaints to them about a horrible breeder that I dealt with on their site, who they have protected to the fullest because she cranks out litters like a vending machine thus giving them LOTS of revenue in fees! My female has been approved to breed by my vet and I have TOP quality dogs in my particular breed. Their customer service reps are clueless about common dog/breeding terminology when spoken to by phone. ALLLLLL GoodDog cares about is MONEY.

I've had been looking for a puppy for sometime but was having trouble finding one for a decent price and that wasn't a scam. I discovered Good dog and was blown away with the ease of use and the amount of options at my finger tips. I was able to find a Boston Terrier from a good breeder and was able to do everything three good dog.
I am so pleased with Good Dog and the breeder I purchased my puppy from. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, caring, loving and friendly breeder. The platform for the Good Dog website is designed well and is very user friendly. It made the purchasing process of my puppy super easy. I would recommend Good Dog to anyone who is interested in purchasing well bred puppies from reputable breeders.(I also recommend Darlene at Edgewater Doodles) She is AWESOME and really cares about her animals and their forever homes. She also takes time out to check on us and see how we are doing. Her animals are her heart. I couldn't have asked for a better breeder and so proud my baby is an Edgewater Doodle.

Our payment was easily and promptly transferred. The puppy was as advertised and paperwork and some food and toys helped on the trip home. Jeanette was very helpful in the transition and did a great job of socialization.

I looked at all the breeders that sold F1b Cockapoos. I narrows it down to 3. One retired the parent dog that I was interested in, another didn't respond for several days. Shepherdsfold cockapoos responded and seemed the perfect fit for us. It has worked out great and Christie Peterson was the best. We couldn't be more pleased with our little Sadie!
