Our firm signed up with GA about 20 months ago at their lowest level. Almost immediately we started to receive referrals. Every referral that we were given, was contacted to determine if they were a good fit for our firm. Several were not but the few that were have turned into solid long term clients that have more then paid for the fee to GA.
Since then, we have raised our service level with GA and in the last three months we have received 10 solid audit and income tax referrals out of about 15 totals referrals given to us. We have presented proposals to those 10 solid leads in the last ten weeks. Four of these proposals have been accepted, even though our pricing was not the lowest received by the client. 2 of the bids have been rejected, again pricing was the issue for one and timing for the other, and we are still waiting for a final determination on the remaining four. All of these referrals were to organizations that we normally would not have known were looking for audit and tax services. GA has provided solid referrals but these referrals are not guaranteed jobs, we still have to determine if the referral is a good fit for our firm and if we can meet the client's expectations.

I am a sole practioner and have been in business for myself since 2001. Last year I opened another office in Boston, but have been having trouble really growing that market. I have been able, thru grass roots marketing, been able to generate a few good clients, but not what I really wanted. I had seen the ads for goodaccountants but was reluctant to sign up. However, one day, I did receive a call from Raquel at Good Accountants and she explained the program to me. I decided to give it a shot and within a week, I received a call from Al, another sales rep. Who told me that he had a lead for me. I went and met with the potential client and within a few days, I was signing the client to a $6,000/yr engagement. I increased my membership and am now working on getting another client that is a multi million dollar medical supply company.

I would highly recommend GA to any CPA that is looking to grow their practice with decent clients. When I see GA pop up on my caller id, I am anxious to take their calls.

We signed on about 6-8 weeks ago, and were immediately given a lead for an audit client, which we met and closed within a week. This client will yield us $45-50,000 under a 3-year contract, way more than our initial investment with GoodAccountants. We then moved up and invested into the next level, and have been sent several leads since then, all fairly good.

Bottom line is, if you are a CPA who is not stuck in the old ways of marketing, and you have any ability whatsoever at selling yourself, GoodAccountants is a perfect fit. We are in the process of bidding on another audit, which may yield us another $30,000 in billings.

It is not GoodAccountants fault that the client doesn't hire you, they are just providing you great opportunities.

I have just joined with Goodaccounts.com over a month and received several leads thereafter.

Yesterday, I got another referral from Goodaccountants.com and closed the case with one well-known restaurant with over 1 million sale volume. I'm very happy about Goodaccountants' hard working for our members! (Note: not hardly working!)

Closing On A Referral
April 24, 2015

I was nervous at first the get involved with GoodAccountants, but decided to give it a try. I paid $5000 fee and within 2 days they sent me out on a referral. The idea is for them to set it up but for us Accountants to close on the deal. I treated like all my other contacts for the contract with the client. I close on the contract with the client the day I met with them@ 18k a year.

Good Accountants gets you in and we Accountants have to ensure the client that we can do the job. I appreciate the contact GoodAccountants did for me and look forward to in the near future of working and getting more clients. It works and they are great referral company.

Thanks
Trina

I have had very good results with GoodAccountants.com. I started with GA.com over 3 1/2 years ago with a $5,000 investment. That referral, an audit/tax/accounting engagement, has generated over $83,000 in fees. Since then we've invested over $100,000 with GA.com that has resulted in almost $300,000 in fees. GA.com to us offers the best qualified leads for medium to fairly large business clients.

It does work!
April 20, 2015

I concur with Richard D.

GA's marketing program does work. We have been able to steadily grow our client base year over year with the help of GA.

There is no way we could have tackled all that is required to run a succesful online marketing campaign on our own.

First off let me say that GoodAccountants.com (GA) is not a magic bullet. It is however a good way to steadily grow your client base. In my case, I initially paid the $5K marketing fee and ended up landing 3 significant clients.

I still had to put in real work on my end to close these deals. The leads that GA send your way are at the very least truly looking for an accounting professional... some leads are obviously hotter than others.

I recently upgraded to their $25K marketing program and am confident that I will see a return on my investment. The key here in my opinion is patience. One only has to do a search for accounting terms in Google to see their ads everywhere so it is clearly evident that they have a strong market presence.

Again, this type of marketing is not for every accountant... if you are not willing to put in the time and effort on your end to close the deal then this is not for you.

Cheers!

As a business owner and radio host who has interviewed over 150 entrepreneurs, the consistent lesson learned from business owners is that it is imperative to hire qualified experts to handle your accounting needs. GoodAccountants.com has helped my husband and I run our businesses in the most efficient manner with less worry.

We are more successful because of our new accountant and gosh, what a great feeling to know someone on our team has our backs covered and nothing will slip through the cracks again. We get to focus on what we do well and our accountant gets to focus what he is good at.

I read a lot of terrible comments, but I have to be honest I needed an audit done quickly and didn't know where to begin my search. They provided a firm that we NOT ONLY will use for the audit, but they will now become our firm. We are a small non-profit and without goodaccountants.com I could have had to search through the yellow pages... I would recommend them HIGHLY!

The they may be very good, but their tactics are less than professional in my opinion. Called me in the middle of tax season, Melissa Fernandez claimed to be a business consultant, and proceeded to waste my time telling me about client who is in dire need of an accountant right away. After 10 minutes, we finally got to the "pitch". If they had identified upfront that they were a membership organization, but had a legitimate potential client for us I would've been interested.

Received a telemarketing call from "goodaccountants". The caller claimed he had a local organization that needed an audit and wanted to know if I was interested. Ultimately, he got to the "catch", which was we had to become members of this service. Rather than start with the fact he works for this service, and has an organization looking for an audit and be upfront about it, he hid it. Typical telemarketing garbage.

We are not your usual nonprofit organization. We have unusual needs related to our annual audits but GoodAccountants.com managed to locate a local accountant capable of performing this audit.

I've engaged more than $60,000 in clients from them on a $5,000 investment. As far as I'm concerned their marketing program for accountants is better than anything else I have tried.

I have come to rely on GoodAccountants.com to help me grow my practice.

I am an accountant in North Carolina and like many other small businesses have lost some revenue due to the tough economy. I joined Good Accountants.com over two years ago and have been very happy with the clients I have added through their efforts. They are professional and provide a great service.

A colleague told me about goodaccountants.com and I decided to give them a shot. I have to say, I knew I was in the right hands as soon as I picked up the phone. I was set up with a great accountant for my company in a short amount of time, and we are all so grateful. I cannot recommend this service enough.

My sister and I own a nutrition & personal training company, and although it's small, we were having trouble keeping up with the books. I was using quickboks, but honestly I had no idea what I was doing. I reached out to GoodAccountants.com and they set us up with a CPA named Jill Kopka, and I am writing this review hoping someone sees it, because she is the best! My sister and I now have more time for our business, and leave the finances to our trusty accountant.

I don't often take the time to write a review about a business, but I really wanted to talk about my experience with goodaccountants.com. The staff is not just accommodating, but the man I spoke to on the phone was SO helpful and reassuring. They got back to me right away, and matched my small business with exactly what I needed (I didn't even really know what I needed before I spoke with them!). I thought I needed a bookkeeper, but their services provided me with the most excellent accountant and recomended a temporary CFO to help me sort out my finances. I am forever grateful for finding goodaccountants!
