The OnePlus 13R I ordered arrived with the seal already broken. I have no idea if it's been rooted, flashed, or is secretly someone else's rejected phone, and if anything goes wrong I'd be stuck with it and no comeback.
Gomibo claim they opened it "to check the accessories" - this is ridiculous. These boxes are sealed in the factory for a reason, and the seals literally say to refuse delivery if broken.
Now they want me to drive into town, find somewhere to print a label, drive somewhere else to drop it off, or pay for expensive shipping myself. Because nothing says "good customer service" like turning your customer into a courier on a treasure hunt. And meanwhile, I'd be at risk of them claiming I shipped back a brick, keeping the phone AND my money. I don't see why I should trust them to honour their obligations when their own rep, Sara, already stated they wouldn't do what they are legally required to.
This appears to be a breach of EU consumer law. The phone is not as described, so it seems their responsibility is to provide a replacement or refund and handle any returns at their cost. Forcing me to do their work, and pay for it, is completely unacceptable.
Absolutely terrible service for a €500 phone. Would not recommend unless you enjoy adventure sports disguised as tech support.
