Im a college student / makeup junkie i tend to get a bit overwhelmed with products spilling from my vanity drawers and taking over my bathroom counters. As anyone knows college will snatch every cent from you lol so why not sell some of my stuff!? At the time I wasnt sure what a Glambot was so like any curious beauty lover i went straight to YouTube just to see how it works. So basically you follow the accepted brand list, pack, request a label, wait for your offer email and viola! Seems simple right? At least thats what i thought. Heres what I sent: 16 MAC eyeshadow pans, 1 urban decay eyeshadow pot, 2 Becca highlighters(champagne pop & opal)1 urban decay eyeliner pencil, 1 urban decay smoky palette, 1 Zpalette & 16Samples. Seems like you would get a chunk of money for these items since they are a bit expensive. I followed the guidelines made sure my package was packed perfectly i labeled every single item etc! So a week goes by I get a notification from the USPS app saying no one was there to accept the package, i started to freak out no lie but once Monday came i did message them to make sure my stuff was directly in their hands, Doug responded and said I would get a offer email within 24hrs. Offer email pops up and they offer me $22... uh, okaaay? So $1 per item? I completely understand that this is a company and they have to make money too. But that was a fucXing ripoff, Its not fair that we send $200+ worth of items while they make double/triple the amount. I did accept the offer of $22 because theres no way in hell Im paying to get it shipped back. I had my doubts that they would poorly pack my s*it and it comes back to me in pieces.
***Overall if youre looking to sell your makeup and youre 100% fine with whatever is tossed on the table, then Glambot is for you! If not i would steer clear of this site or donate to a great cause / re-sale your items on a site yourself so youre not getting cheated. Dont be like me and ignore the bad honest reviews about Glambot thinking your experience will be better, its all TRUE!

From the business

Glambot was founded by a tried-and-true makeup hoarder. She loves makeup and all of the glamour it represents. Trying the various online makeup bartering and trading communities, she experienced the major downsides, including swap lifting, counterfeits...
