I practice both modern and traditional carpentry. Garrett Wade is my go to place for finding the tools I need for this. They have a good selection, easy online order and prompt delivery. I am satisfied with all my purchases from this company.

GW has many unique and utilitarian items. I have purchased many garden items plus several knives. Everything is very good quality and their customer service is excellent.
First, the company makes good quality tools and I am happy with all the tool purchases that I have made. I recently gave a poor review regarding my experience with a return that was not acknowledged and what I felt was poor customer service. After posting the review however, company representatives promptly contacted me. It turns out that the company had gotten more than one new computer systems and the order form, the back of which I was supposed to fill out, was blank. Not having filled it out the company had no way of identifying the customer who made the return. After speaking to Joe, who BTW is a fantastic guy and a lot of fun to talk to, they issued a full refund to my credit card. Susan was also wonderful and pleasure to communicate with by email.
So at this point, once again I stress that the quality of the merchandise is outstanding but they are currently having problems with their computer system and return process, which should improve in the near future. It is a real plus that people, real people, who work there reached out to me promptly and put forth great effort to rectify the problem.
All the tools have been great quality and arrived quickly.
Both items were as expected. Used them on test projects and both operated better than I had hoped. The Stove heated cooking oil to 350, and the hush puppies Fried up beautifully. The lantern with a bees wax candle gave off a little more light than I expected and stayed lit through a pretty steady breeze.
I bought the French-made steak knives; they are sharp and have the right heft. They are good for anything that needs cutting, not just steak which I don't eat!
I placed my order and credit card was charged. I was sent an email letting me know the order was received. I never received any information on when it was shipping. After a week, I called and the customer service told me it was packed and ready to ship but had not left the building. 3 days later I called again, to be left on hold for 15 minutes because they could not find the order. I called back and I was informed that it was being packed and there was no schedule for shipping. I requested a cancelation as I live out of the country and know that I will not receive it in time for my departure. I was told there is no way to cancel it and that it would have to be left up to UPS to return it as there will be no one to receive it at this address. Awful customer service. They take your money and then whatever happens whenever it happens is the way they do business. Since no one will be here to receive the package I suspect this will be a $220 usd loss to me. I was really looking forward to receiving my gifts, and this has left an extreme sour taste in my mouth.

Everything I have purchased has been of the highest quality. My last order did not contain one of the items I ordered and getting the the matter straightened out was efficient and the item was sent after a phone call to report the problem. Good customer service is important and it exists at G. W.
Offers unique and unusual items not readily available elsewhere. Quality is very good, but some are pricey, as is shipping of small quantities. It's a tool catalog for "boys"! It's one of the many catalogs I get that I always look through to see what's new.
Everything I have purchased from kitchen knives, stainless steel garden hose, to pruning saws and stainless steel Garden rakes has been top- notch. I know that anything I purchase will be as advertised.
Quick shipping, products recieved was as expected, very nice quality stuff that you can't buy at other places, and found a free Garrett Wade knife pocket knife that I wasn't expecting. Nice knife! Carry it everyday.

Ordered these loopers because I couldn't find a heavy duty set at the home improvement or hardware store. There is no easy to trim mesquite trees but, these are the best I've found to do the job.
I love my soil knife so much that I decided to buy a friend one. Ordering was easy. Packaging was good. It arrived quickly, and my friend loves it as much as I do.
