FXCESS is quite a good broker and they indeed can offer a lot of things to customers, so there is no need to think that this broker is too old. Their blog section is useful and can be helpful for newcomers and intermediate traders. Personally,I didn't learn anything new from there but it was a good opportunity to remember everything about trading and financial markets.
The spread on Gold usually ranges around 25 points, which is great for a standard account.
The execution is great too, I see rarely any slippages.

Switched here for VPS. I have $6500 in the account atm, so for me its free, and having VPS is the only way for me to profit with my EAs, its scalping on the reversals price action.
The execute speed with VPS is awesome (not sure how good it is otherwise tbh). I just wish withdrawal was more than USDT/BTC/banks. At least they let you choose a currency in which to withdraw...

I accidentally found fxcess broker. And decided to try it out, especially since it has a rather positive feedback in the community.
I chose Classic account, because I don't like to pay commission for trading, it's easier for me to calculate spreads, which, by the way, start from 1.7 pips. I work with currency pairs and metals and trading is kinda lucrative for me.

They seem simple at first, its just about trading, you don't get anything you dont need. But there's a lot going on under the hood, it seems, for them to reach numbers like these.
In terms of pure trading i'm giving them a 5, but for beginners I wish they had more analytical stuff on their site, to help with first steps etc.

It's an established company and I should say that it looks advantageous compared to other platforms. I ain't say that this is a top-tier broker, but in a so-called "middle" class it takes leading positions.
This conclusion derives from my personal experience of trading with them. I like the existence of the ecn account with an amplified order execution speed and rather mild commissions. $4.5 per round-turn means that you pay ~0.04 per positions if trading standard lots. Lol, it's a real bargain, the biggest part of the profits come straight to your pocket.

It's not a unique broker, actually there are many of such ones, but it has interesting features to consider.
For instance, I like the versatility of their blog. It's definitely not a full-fledged educational section with variety of courses and whatnot, but there are trading strategies, news, and other stuff which is important to take into account whenever it comes to analysis.
Moreover, I have no troubles with using instruments here. Platform performs good enough, without freezes and the range of markets is quite excessive for me. I can easily diversify all the risks and trade profitably.

I mostly trade the Dow Jones and must share with those who trade or want to trade this instrument that the trading terms on FXCess are attractive. I don't know about the other instruments, but the spread of only $4 on US30 is great. And this is with the Standard account type. The ECN probably offers an improved spread, but I am satisfied with the one I get. In combination with the absence of trading fees, my trading on this platform is cost-effective.
The trading software used by this broker is MT4 which is another excellent decision they made.
