So, I'm an American living in France. My best friend's birthday is this week, so I decided to send her surprise flowers. I found the website for flowersfromyou by typing in her city and flower delivery. I didn't realize at the time that this is a third party system.

The flowers I ordered were from the birthday drop down menu. I ordered the "Rose, lily sunshine bouquet with birthday balloon." I became more than a little worried after I read some really bad reviews. I was afraid that they would not be delivered on time, I paid extra for expedited shipping.

So, I called the company from France and got through no problem. A young woman answered and I explained that my friend would be leaving her house soon and I wanted to make sure she got the flowers at the time I paid for. She called the florist and told me they were on the way. About 10minutes later I got a message from my friend telling me she loved them and they were beautiful!

I was SO relieved. But, here's the thing. This is a middle man type of site. They call a local florist in the area you want it delivered. The flowers that got sent to my friend were pretty similar to the picture, but the little blue flowers shown in the picture were replaced by little purple wild flowers which are not as pretty. I gave that a pass since the lily's and roses were there and looked nice.

You are better off just ordering from an actual florist. Then you will know exactly what you are getting. Some people have had horrible experiences bc the florist in their area was bad or didn't have the flowers they ordered. So, I gave this 4 stars because I got lucky, but the bouquet was missing the birthday balloon and the flowers weren't exactly what I ordered.

My same day delivery ended up taking 2 days to get delivered, however, I was very happy with the customer service I received. The florist that was originally supposed to make the arrangement and deliver it was unreachable by your customer service. After calling twice to say it hasn't got there, your team sent it to another florist and compensated me for the time lost. Very happy with that and will more than likely go through you again. The advertised prices were very reasonable! However, they charged an additional $14 handling fee at the very last page before collecting payment. They did deliver before the 5pm deadline, but just barely! 4:51pm is a little ridiculous considering I've used 1800Flowers a couple times and all arrived by 2pm if not before noon without me having to pay the additional fee to guarantee before noon delivery. Once they did arrive, they looked like an anorexic version of the online pictures with several of the flowers not yet bloomed. The overall experience and product was not at all what I expected and received from other online floural ordering sites. Definitely not worth the $47 I just dropped trying to make my boyfriend feel better after a rough week.
