Excellent customer service

I signed up for 12 meals for the week of June 1st and was referred by a friend. I didn't see where I could put her information so I contacted the live chat and spoke with Bella. She was a huge help. She was able to locate my friend and gave her a credit. Bella did a wonderful job and was very professional and very helpful.

Considerate & thoughtful

I use Freshly to send family food. When they were delayed in delivering a meal, they offered a credit, without being asked! When I contacted chat support to see when that credit would be applied, the support was considerate, thoughtful, and responsive. They were so kind that I am keeping Freshly going longer. (It doesn't hurt that my family really enjoys the meals.) I've definitely become a fan.

I have mixed feelings about your preparations. About half range from Meh to almost delicious, but they are all too skimpy on the protein portions. As a result, I have often found myself having two in one night, which completely knocks the affordability (compared to restaurant-delivered) off the charts. In chat I have suggested you increase the protein portion size by 15% with a commensurate bump in cost, and call that tier of larger meals your "Hearty" or "Premium" choices. They would still sit in the same trays and sleeves. I would definitely go for an adequate single meal costing me $12 than two smaller meals that cost me $20+. As it sits now, after next week I will be ending my subscription.

The meals are currently 12 to 15 oz per meal (13.6 oz on average). I'll be sure to pass your thoughts and suggestions along to our kitchen. Needs improvement

You need to bring more new meals. I'm considering canceling because it's the same meals every week! The portions are very inconsistent and lately I've been getting smaller portions. I can tell by how the content fills up my microwaveable bowls. Also the glue you use to seal the plastic on the meals is awful! I struggle ripping that film off every time and the peeled glue strings onto my food!
