Had a few of these meals now and they are very tasty. Some of them are a bit high in calories if you are keeping to a daily calorie count, but so far really enjoying them.
John was immediately available and resolved my issue in less than ten minutes.
I just received my first set of meals, and I am happy to say I was very satisfied with the delivery/shipping materials. I was not home during delivery, and was nervous the food might not be cold by the time I got home from work. I had a bad experience in the past with a similar food delivery service. This was not the case with Freshly! The container/shipping materials kept the food frozen! Great job. I tried my first meal for dinner, the golden oven fried chicken + mash, it was delicious! I am so excited to try the rest of my meals and plan for the weeks ahead. Thank you for giving me a great experience so far.

We have busy work schedules and love Freshly because of the convenient delivery and meal prep. The meals have all been great, the only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because while the meals are the perfect portion for me they aren't quite large enough for my boyfriend.

Great for Lunch At work or Dinner. I can eat healthy if the family wants takeout. Very adventurous dishes so I eat something interesting without having to force the family to try a new dish. Meals tasted good even after being frozen then cooked. Very convenient!
The meals are quite good and the choices are many. I find that I have enjoyed these meals and they are not full of sodium.

Don't really care for any of the food we received. The only one that was good was the sausage and penne. Have one more order do we will see. Had the steak pepperoni and the steak was tough and mushy.
I needed to cancel my order scheduled for Friday, 6/19/20, because of a large car repair bill I'm anticipating next week, and Mel helped me cancel the order with NO HASSLES whatsoever. She was very gracious and accommodating. I appreciate it more than I can say.

So far all the meals have been great I love the quick delivery and packaging and payment through PayPal went completely smooth. I also like the fact that you're constantly asking for critiques and the overall experience of the meal.

Food is so good. I travel a lot and they are great to take in my cooler. A few minutes in the microwave and I have a healthy meal.

The food is amazing. I have tried 10 meals and they've all been exceptional! They're really nice for lunch at the office. Less expensive, healthier, and easier than going out for lunch.
I'm new to Freshly and so far I'm enjoying the meals. I would love to see the packaging switched to paper product as I'm hesitant of heating plastic in the microwave. I also hope that the recipes/meals will change often as I've ended up cancelling other meal delivery services because I became tired and bored with eating the same meals. I'm hoping that's not the case with Freshly because so far, I'm impressed with the flavor and quality of the meals.

I hate cooking. Healthy meals are always so much work and taste gross. I also always eat way to much of the unhealthy food when I make it. So this is perfect. Im eating better and portion control. If I knew how to maake Butternut mac and cheese at home Id eat the whole pot. So easy and no mess. Just pop it in the microwave and enjoy.

Freshly dinners are delivered on time. Meals heat in minutes & we all get exactly what we want since each order is exactly what each of us ordered.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
