A bit unnerving until I got the score. I am a retired law enforcement officer; It has been a while since I received good news, all though my score does need work.
While examining my credit reports I found that one bureau of the three had a collection that had been filed by an insurance company. I had replaced the insurer with another carrier and had discussed this with original carrier several times. Luckily, for me, I never throw anything away. I had all of the paperwork I needed to refute the claims. As soon as I downloaded the dispute form, all I had to do was go to the library and copy the originals to forward to the credit bureau.
I thought this would be a free service, but had to pay $1.00 and will have to cancel the monthly fee. I do not want a credit report monthly so felt somewhat mislead.
I had to give a credit card # & I have to cancel it w/in so many days or they will charge me monthly. I DO NOT WANT TO BE CHARGED. The FREE part was misleading...

It was an easy sign up and was able to get my credit report. For all three credit bureaus.
I was able to get my credit scores, however, when I tried to print on one of the sites, it said it would be printing TEN pages! That didn't seem possible for the few entries I had on my report. Is it possible to have the info condensed so that it isn't printing unnecessary info?
