Forever 21 Reviews Summary

Cheap junk clothes
February 22, 2015

Can't stand this store. Other but cheaply made junk clothes that fall apart on the first wash. Save your money.

Every employee that I've ever talked to in a Forever 21 store, or online, has been completely rude.
Whenever I order online, they don't actually ship my order until almost a week after I've made the purchase and placed my order. Their order confirmation emails say that you should receive your shipment in 5-7 business days, which never happens. I always have to wait up to 2 weeks. It's ridiculous. Don't bother buying stuff from them online.
I love their clothes and everything but it's not worth their awful service.
Don't waste your time.

Horrible
February 19, 2015

Never work for Forever 21. It is the most ridiculous company to work for. They will change the weekly schedule AT LEAST 3 times per week, with or without your notice. They will make you work sick if you don't have both a dr note and a cover. They made me come in and work stock from 1am to 11 am with the flu. Go to school? Nope not anymore, that's pretty much out of the question here. They are not flexible with you. My co-workers applied with a set availability based on school and they still scheduled and made them come in. Another co worker needed time off during holiday season because grandma is dying, they would not give her a single day off. She quit. Amoung the other 20 of us. Not to mention they have 72 hours to give you your final paycheck... yeah, no. They said they were mailing it. I came in a month later, they still had it in the store. Also didn't give us our w2 on time. Way last due. Horrible company, unorganized and very disrespectful and careless. This is from my experience at Clackamas Town center. Take my advice. Even my assistant managers quit.

I ordered some clothing during a sale and applied a promotional code at checkout. This code was to get me a free panty. It had me choose a color which is what I did. I never received the item with my order and they now say that although I added the code and color, the item was never "successfully" added so they won't send me it now.

Terrible website!
February 17, 2015

I tried to buy from Forever21.com but they just wouldn't let me place my order. I live out in the country so we don't get USPS mail (we have a PO box in town), but we do get FedEx and UPS. Websites generally let me place an order with my street address and PO box address as part of the zip code -- not Forever21.com! They rejected my street address with no possible way to override their irrelevant check, and so tried to charge me extra for USPS priority mail to ship to my PO box even though my order qualified for free shipping. I tried to start a chat session to get a representative to override their address check, and their chat provider doesn't run on my Linux laptop. HELLLOOOO Forever21 -- you DO know you have competition don't you? Why can't your website work like everybody else's website? Goodby Forever21.com!

So annoyed!
February 11, 2015

So annoyed! I ordered 4 items online and I was sent 3 of the right items and a random skirt instead of the jumpsuit I paid for. The skirt was 10$ cheaper than what I paid for and not even something I would wear. I called customer service and they told me I had to ship the item back and wait for it to get exchanged. I complained about having to pay for the return shipment and they are going to email me a label in the next 48hrs. Either way I was hoping to wear that particular outfit this Saturday for valentines day. In addition, I now have to go out of my way to find a UPS drop location to ship this skirt back. I am beyond annoyed. I spend over $120 dollars and all they have done is inconvenienced me. I will likely not order from their online store again.

This is a good store, except they have a branch in Riverside Plaza, Riverside California, with horrible customer service. The staff are rude, inconsiderate, lots of anger management problems, and only couple managers are good. It appears that few managers are abusing the employees and employees are therefore very rude to customers. It was a night mare to shop there with angry faces running around and ordering you what to do around the store. I called the management and no one cared to return a call. I called the supervisor and no one cared to return a call. I have shopped at this store in a different state for years and always best customer service. The staff in this location are simply extremely extremely rude. The managers or supervisors don't care. It is sad, because this is one of the bigger stores around in the area. There is another one in Moreno Valley mall with the best and nicest staff and managers ever. I believe due to a very rude customer service and very poor management and supervision, no one really likes to shop in this location, it is not busy at all compared to other locations. This location must have a supervision, investigation and evaluation. The shareholders and owners are losing money for what is happening there. I believe people I spoke to so far, simply didn't even care to return a call, how would they even care for the profitability of this store. Great store and too bad they are wasting few hundred thousands there under dysfunctional management and staff. This is a great brand, it deserves at least an average customer service. The area is a low income area, but they should not hire bad staff or abuse them mentally and psychologically to the point that they are super rude to customers ( if indeed that is the case). Anyhow, I keep post about bad service, till they notice it or care to notice. This is a worldwide brand, good name and should not be ruined by carelessness of supervision and management.

Their return policy if the worst I have ever encountered. I purchased a necklace there put it on the next day and it broke in my car driving to work. I hadn't even worn it for 15 minutes! I went to the store and they would not even just give me a new one. I didn't want my money back just to get a new one. But NOOOOO. Wow and they put the Bible verse John 3:16 on their bag. What Christians! You put that on your bag and yet you rip off your customers. I will never, ever step foot in their cheap store again.

Got gift cards for christmas, 200.00 worth and spent it all on the online store with awesome sales going on. I paid priority shipping for my order and only received HALF of my order within a week. The other half got lost, still have not received it... I had to wait 3 weeks before I could even have a complaint filed, then once that time surpassed all I got was a refund that i have to wait at least 3 more weeks to process! (It took 6 weeks! See update at bottom) There is no way to re-order half the stuff I got because it is sold out now and it would be around double the price now as well.

I cannot believe I ordered on Jan. 2nd, had to wait till Jan 22nd to file a complaint, and then have to wait another 3 weeks to even order again! Someone was kind enough to buy me gift cards and their money is just hanging in limbo right now. I wish I would have known about this HORRIBLE customer service sooner... at least now, after spending my store credit I will NEVER shop here again and am warning everyone that it is likely their product will get lost and if it is they will not reship and won't even refund until their lost claim with usps is settled so they aren't left out of pocket (while I am out 118.00).

UPDATE 3/11/15: I got an email on 2/25 with the refund info and wasn't told until my refund was processed that I can only use the refund online. To order online, I need the pin number which they did NOT send me. So I emailed them back on 2/27 but did not receive the pin numbers until 3/4,4 days later. So in all I waited 6 weeks before I got my refund back! It was a little over 3 months from the first time I ordered before I could order again and just like I thought, all the styles have changed... And I did not get anything to make up for this fiasco other than a 10% discount that you can easily find online anyway.

Oh, also, I ordered again 6 days ago and one part of the package has already arrived, and I just recieved an email today (3/11) that states some of the items I ordered are now out of stock. 6 days after I ordered! So now I have to wait for a refund on those items. Great.

Seriously just stay away from the online store.

Horrible return shipping policy. My husband bought me a pair of boots for Christmas and by the time I got them for Christmas and realized they didn't fit, my return window was only a few days. When I called, they said they could've extended the return for an extra week (and I was 3 days past that extension). I don't know many stores that don't at least offer store credit for up to 90 day returns. Ridiculous.

BEWARE SHOPPING ONLINE!
January 15, 2015

BEWARE SHOPPING ONLINE! I purchased several items on forever21.com. After tracking my package I realized they swapped my billing address and shipping address! Always check your addresses in the confirmation email! If the address is wrong there is basically nothing you can do. I called customer service twice and both times felt like they were putting me on mute and not listening! I am so disappointed.

Their service is a joke! I am never going to order from them through their website. I ordered one item from sale and one i was supposed to get for free because of the promotion, in a few days i got an email that the free item is out of stock(and i am not going to get anything else), so i wrote them an email if they will be able to do anything about it, maybe i could choose other free item, but...(still no response btw) Then i decided to call them, the assistant on the phone told me that she is only able to give me a 10% discount on the next order!(this is ridiculous if they think that i am going to order again there). She also told me that they forgot to update theit website and who knows how many stuff is out of stock and customers doesnt know that while ordering! So I am really dissapointed about that. I would advise you not to order through their website.

Most of what I have ordered from Forever 21 has been good and as pictured, but a few things did not come as pictured. The quality has been good for the price, and I like the fact that they have reviews so you can kind of go off what other people say to find the right fit for you. Sizing can be a little tricky for this site. Good timing on shipping, and no problem with returns for me.

First thing I want to say is thank you for the excellent quality and service from forever 21. I figure most shops have low rating is because people only write a review when they have some kind of problem, mostly angry, upset people. But not many happy review because, well, everything is ok so why should they write a comment?

Well, I bought online some clothing from forever21 and everything came perfect in the right time, good prices and intact. The pant I bought was too loose on me, but that was my fault since I measure myself incorrectly and order M instead of S, that was my fault.

I want to tell people, don't be afraid of all the review online, or COMPLETELY trust all the reviews online, because some of them aren't even the store's fault. Like return policy, it is the policy, why are you trying to argue with a POLICY?

Some of the store that has low rating, that I bought and seemed ok are: Forever21, Azkara, Dresslily, Charming Charlie. And probably all the other brand name store like American Eagle and such.

I'm not here to advertise, I'm here to tell people that reviews online are not completely reliable sometimes. I'm not saying that all people writing reviews aren't reliable, they are because they bought the product, however, remember that most people writing review, are 90% angry and upset people while writing the review:)

Thank you for reading. I hope success comes with you.

I do not suggest shopping from forever 21 online. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I ordered 10 items from them and I only received 7. I messaged them about it and they told me I had to fill out a affidavit and send it to them. I have sent it over 15 times (not exaggerating) and they still refuse to answer me. DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET ALL YOUR ITEMS OR AT LEAST YOUR MONEY BACK. So disappointed with how this site has treated me.
