We used the 1 pound root dip It went a long way to plant 425 Bare Root Transplant trees, Fraser and Canaan Fir. Here in WV we have been in a drought area the past 2 years. Most likely because of global warming making the high warm air fronts from the south push the cooler cold air fronts more north bypassing our area for rain. Hopefully this root dip with Mycorrhizal fungi will help promote rapid root development to get us through these drier than normal years,

You are correct in saying a lot has changed in the shipping world in the past 5 years. FedEx and UPS are moving to a dimension-based rating system, where in years past, their rates were solely based on actual weight. This is driving up the cost of shipping large or long items. On top of this, they are adding additional handling charges for anything that is over 48 inches in length. The tree shelters that you ordered are 6 feet long, which is why your order was expensive to ship. We have a complete human operation here at Forestry Suppliers Inc. I apologize for the oversight in not sending the protective netting with your shelters. After you contacted our customer service team, they promptly sent the missing netting to you.
