Easy to buy. Wish there were a way to filter scales by their weight ranges. Would have made shopping way easier as I was looking around for which scale to buy for measuring grass clippings.
This axe is great. I primarily split Doug fir, some larch, and typically split around 6-8 cords a year. I was using the Ochsenkopf Big Ox, and it's a great maul, but sometimes overkill for super dry fir... If you have been thinking about going from a maul to a splitting axe, you will definitely not be disappointed in this axe. Old Iron Axe and Tool on YouTube has some "Mods." he does to his. And I felt a big difference in the way my axe split before and after the "Mods." Overall, this is a great axe, and I am excited to keep splitting with it
Shipping was delayed and it was delivered on the front steps in a heavy rain. The box was soaked and the product information packet was soaked as well.
