We monitor reviews for authenticity
I found that some jobs that they advertised as "New" and posted for "Today" were already filled according to the companies websites. I really question that their information regarding their claim to have the most up-to-date listings.
Also, when I asked them to cancel my subscription up though the date I had paid for, they canceled it immediately and did not allow me access to for the days I had already paid. No refund.
I would try another job site first.
I have TWICE signed up with FlexJobs. The first time was last December. I signed in with their temporary password and changed it to my own password. That was it! The next day I tried to sign in --- nothing! I kept getting messages that my email or password was wrong. Not possible: I know my email and I write down passwords in a ledger that are later put into an Excel file. Error is not possible. I contacted FlexJobs. No answer, no help. So, pissed off, I let it go.
Yesterday, I stupidly signed in again. Another fee paid. It was the same thing. Temporary password was used to change it to personal password. I then tried to sign on again and couldn't do it. I contacted them and still no answer. I even gave them my phone number. NOTHING! I go from hre to RipOff Report.
As someone who works in education coordination/management, there are very few job opportunities. There are some educational jobs in the corporate world there, but they don't apply to me. Further, often hundreds of people apply to these jobs, so the chances of you landing an interview are rather miniscule.
I like my LinkedIn membership. Lots of transparency and insights.
