I called to cancel FlexJob service as I only one month to try it out and not be charged the full fee, $71 USD. The friendly service representative agreed to cancel and recommend a month subscription and a part job as I wanted.

FlexJobs could be great, but their search filters are a major time suck. They do not allow you to search within your needed salary range so you are forced to scroll through hundreds of jobs that are not options. When I asked about this in chat, I was given the following response: "We feel sorry to inform you that FlexJobs does not currently offer a direct filter for salary range in our filters selection, the reason of this is because some job post do not include estimated salary as the employer decided not to provide this information, we encourage companies to provide this details as we know is an important aspect to consider while searching for new job opportunities." If companies choose not to provide a salary and job searchers choose to exclude those posts, that is the company's choice. Paying users should not be forced to sort through jobs that are thousands of dollars below the user's needed salary to survive or don't list the salary. I understand companies pay to post jobs, but users also pay to search those job postings and the users should not have to suffer inadequate search features to accommodate companies who intentionally choose not to be transparent in their pay ranges. Another drawback to FlexJobs is their keyword search option. It misses the mark by miles. What's the point of offering keyword search when it pulls up everything EXCEPT your keywords or buries them four or five pages in? I can only assume FlexJobs promises companies so many posting views and this is how they accomplish it.

Very nice tool although more detail needs to be visable, the kind of business it is. Very vague description, could be a hospital or a gas station based on offered job duties. Confusing...

I wish it would filter jobs better. I would put in entry, bachelors level, and higher jobs would still pop up.
