I never received my order, which I ordered over 2 months ago. I have tried to call, email and chat with the only response asking me if I would like a coupon to place an order. The customer service telephone number is outsourced so the agent I spoke to simply told me she would transfer my message. My credit card was charged months ago. Buyers beware.
I placed an order on 9/4/2020. I received an order confirmation but have gotten no notification of shipment. I have called to check on the order and was told that it was shipped and should arrive by 9/26. I have not gotten it. I called THREE times and emailed twice and have gotten no information. Was told "will forward this to? Wherever? And they'll contact you. They have not!
Ordered custom sized linens & delivered within 2 weeks was surprised because all my other deliveries were late during the pandemic quality is as good or better of any linen sheets I have purchased over the last 22 years of buying my own sheets.
I want to inform everyone the best way to get in touch with the company is through the website chat. As far as I understand due to COVID-19 the company has been forced to work remotely and hire a 3rd party to answer phone calls but the website chat is still being answered by the company employees. I ordered some items when they were delivered was interested in adding to my order so I called the phone number and they took my name and phone number to get a call back. Instead of waiting I decided to use the chat and was instantly connected with someone from the company to add some items to my order. Natalie immediately sent me a quot via email and i was able to recorder. Thank you Natalie!
I am a 68 years old and have been leaving my house less and less over the past months. I have had to switch my essential purchases online. Since I am a big fan of sleeping on Linen i found this company. I normally go to the department store to purchase bedding but this time I was pleased to receive a higher quality material at a better price then what I would have paid at Nordstrom's. After sleeping on the bedding for the past 2 weeks and washing them twice. The reason I did not purchase Belgian Linen before was fear of caring for them but there is no difference between caring for cotton and Belgian linen other then the linen dries faster. I am very pleased with my decision to order from this company and would like to recommend that you do the same
My initial order with Flax Linens was 3 years ago. Since the bedding lasted and felt like it got even better over time. Unfortunately my cat snagged by duvet cover so I came back and received the exact same color I initially ordered (indigo blue). I decided to order a full set (duvet cover, pillow cases, fitted sheet and flat sheet) in the same color I was expecting for there to be a big difference due to fading but I was impressed to see that the color stayed virtually the same
Ordered my Stonewashed Belgian Linen 3 Piece set 2 weeks ago, arrived on time via Fedex. European Flax as described from the reviews it looks like the company went through a rough patch while the mail was slowed down during covid but it seems like everything is back to normal. I was recommended this site from Architecture Digest article which turned me onto this company and not disappointed
Ordered from this company because they seem to be the only ones around which sell bedding as well as linen fabric by the yardage. I am using the fabric for a project to make curtains to match the bed sets I ordered last year. I ordered 23 yards of natural flax fabric to turn into curtain drapes in our master bedroom and it arrived within 2 weeks of purchase exactly the same fabric that was used to make my.
Just received my 5 piece bedding set I ordered from this company Flax Linens.com in love with quality and color match. The colors on the website were exactly as I imagined them in my bedroom. The weight of the fabric is what I am most impressed with. Not too heavy and not too light, seems like the type of material I can use all year round. Will order again to add to my collection
THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE. I ORDERED LINENS END OF JULY AND NEVER RECEIVE THEM. HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIGHT FOR MY REFUND. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE HAS NO ACTUAL AFFILIATION TO THE COMPANY AND WILL LIE AND LIE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER BEING COMMUNICATED TO BY THE COMPANY ABOUT THEIR CLAIM. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
I ordered a set of linen sheets (very high-priced) for $278.80 in June, received Confirmation from the company as they collected money from my credit card, and that was the last I heard from them. They are only in business to collect money: the product (if you are lucky enough to receive anything) comes directly from China, with all labeling and documentation written in Chinese; their so-called Customer Service department is a third-party company that has no actual connection to FlaxLinens and no way to get in touch with them (just like the customer). Apparently, that's the business model of this company: take the money, then run and hide. These guys are nothing more than crooks! They should not receive a one-star rating - they should receive a jail sentence for fraud! Do not buy anything from FlaxLinens.
Terrible customer service, all calls go to offsite person with no additional numbers to call. Ordered 05/11/2020, online, Order confirmed, now no record of order in their system, but credit card was charge at time of purchase. 5 calls, 4 emails, no responses. Now 08/24/2020. Not happy. Zero stars.
Unfortunately I read these reviews after I had ordered $300 sheets. First of all I've never paid that much for sheets in my life but was excited about luxurious linen. The time that they were supposed to arrive came and went and that's when I saw these reviews. I don't even know how many times I have called this company but I'm not screwing around, I've already called my state rep and I WILL get either my sheets or a refund. I don't know how they even stay in business, this is actually stunning, this Hass to be a scam. They always say the person you need to speak to is not available and I said well how do you know? It's just the runaroundI am so pissed right now you have no idea!
Sadly I did not review this company's service record before ordering. If I had, I would have discovered that Flax Linens routinely charges your credit card upon placing your order but then fails to send the items ordered. I've contacted the company six times in over two months and get the same response: "the person you need to speak with is not available but they will be contacting you by email." Since I never received any response (numerous times now) I requested that my order be refunded. Flax Linens have simply employed the same pattern as before with the order and I'm afraid I will never be refunded. I'm now out about $110 and will attempt to work with my bank in response to fraud. What a bummer! While it appears they have good products, I would highly advise you to seek your items elsewhere at the risk of falling into a customer service black hole and a complete loss of your money.
I ordered in June and no delivery although promised in 2 weeks. They apologized and said I would have my order in one more week and nothing! The do not respond to phone or email. People who answer the phone don't know anything and say someone will get back to you. Just like all the other reviews here.
I ordered a king size duvet cover on July 2 2020. Waited the two weeks. Product never arrived. Sent 1st email inquiring about status, no answer. Sent 2nd email, no response. Sent 3rd email, no response. Called, no return phone call. Sent 4th email, no response. Tried to use their "chat" feature. No response. Then I read these review and found they all had the same story so I just disputed the purchase which smartly I put on my AmEx. Now I'm going to have to find another place to buy a flax linen duvet cover. One month wasted but glad I saw this review site and stopped wasting my time, especially since you all say the product is produced in China. Dang.
I ordered a sheet set and a duvet cover at nearly $500, nearly 3 months ago and it still hasn't arrived. I've placed 7 phone calls to customer service and they all guarantee me that they will email and/or call with an update on the status of my shipping/refund, but no one ever emails and no one ever calls. After 2 months, five calls, numerous emails and even their customer service texting option offers no solution, I just want a refund. However, no one at their first line customer service can actually do anything. Out $500 with nothing but wasted time, wasted energy and a lot of frustration.
I ordered a duvet cover set in Mid May 2020. I received a Tracking number and package was to be delivered June 11. It is now July 20. I have phoned their 800 number at least 12 times and always getting a different person on the line. I tell them my issue and each and every response is the same. "I will forward your message and you will receive an email" Well, an email has never come. Today I called again and spoke with "Rebecca" who gave me the same line as the prior 12 calls to Flax Linens. After questioning her I did find out that she does not work for Flax Linens and is solely a customer service for them and other companies. I asked her whether Flax Linens really exists and she said she did not know! I then asked for a full refund and again she said I will send this to my supervisor and you will receive and email in response and a refund. Let's see... I have never is my entire life ever received such poor customer service, and I somewhat feel sorry for the people that have to dish out all this BS. I sincerely hope for a response and my full refund. Thank you
After waiting for over a month for my duvet and contacting customer service and never receiving a reply, I finally received duvet from CHINA. No where does it state MADE IN CHINA. Also, I had a custom order and was charged for the extra ruffle and did not receive it. Can not get anyone to contact me. DO NOT PLACE ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY.

Answer: I had the same experience. Spoke to someone on the phone 4 times. They said they'd call back or email. Each time, they never did. The emails I sent to [email protected] all were unanswered. Their chat bot was never available - I left messages on it which were supposed to be returned - they never were. I was very forgiving and sympathetic to a small business during a pandemic - but they never once returned a call or sent the merchandise or got back to me - they just deducted the money immediately from my card, kept it, never sent anything and never did anything with customer service except waste my time.
