I wanted some of my mother's wedding photos edited as a surprise gift. Most didn't need that much editing so I asked for pro level or just minor editing on the ones that looked pretty good already. They refused to edit them at that level and insisted on doing $25 restoration work on all of them. When asked why they all needed that level of work because some looked like I could edit it myself with generic google photo editing tools and it would be fine they just gave the response, "because its an old photo." I asked them to further specify why and I was just rehashed the same it was old so it needs restored. I refused to to have the perfectly fine photos editied at that level but let them so the three worst photos that level. It was a waste of time and money. I should have gone to esty or some other site. 2 out of three of the photos looked half assed. They fixed how dark the photos looked but left it hazy looking and one of the photos looked like something I could do myself. One even had yellow patches. I requested corrections and you apparently have to hold their hand the whole way and tell them what needs corrected instead of them using their eyes. It took four days to get the corrections where it took 2 days for the supposed restorations. I only got the link to my corrections after asking the help chat on their site where my photos were. One came back better the other was barely touched and they had only fixed the yellow spot but left it hazy. I had to go back in and re request corrections even though I specifically asked for the haziness to be fixed. They sent me the new corrections a day later and it looked exactly the same. They fixed none of the haziness. I ended up just downloading the photo and correcting the haziness myself. I have no editing experience yet Iwas able to fix something that they couldnt withint the span of 15 minute. Their communication also sucks. Dont pay attention to their emails they dont include all the details in them. Only look at the comments under your photos. I highly encourge you to go somewhere else for photo editing as this place is mediocre at best and youll probable have better luck on etsy. Dont waste your time.
I downloaded some "free" overlays from their site... that got emailed to me...
(I figured I'd get a bunch of spam email from all kinds of sites... but I could deal with that.)
Sure... they sent the overlays to my email...
But now MY COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY FROZEN! I can't even do a force shut down by holding down the power button!
And on top of that... 20 minutes later... my iPhone notifies me that someone is trying to use my Apple ID!
They loaded my computer with spyware... and within a1/2 hour... began trying to use my info!
After it was too late...
I looked at their Facebook page...
All the people who comment on their posts are fake!
Look them up yourself... all the people connected to their Facebook page have no friends themselves... and posts are put up by a computer... with "likes" under the post... but there is never a comment that's written out. All done by a computer.
Now I feel so stupid for not looking up reviews about their site before I took the free overlay downloads!
My Apple ID and all my other passwords are easy to change... but who knows what damage they did to my computer.
I've never seen a computer not respond to a force shut down... and I have no idea how I'm gonna fix this...
Don't do what I did...
Don't go near fixthephoto.com
Very low image editing level. On their website, they appear as a top professional editing company. Waste of money. I can edit better myself in photoshop. Fixthephoto has created a professional website with great pictures. In short, CHEAT AND AMOUNTS! THEY DELIVER FROM SINGLE CUSTOMERS... KEEP YOU LONG AWAY! Fixthephoto can't edit at the professional level... by no means!
Y'all are awesome! Looks so clean! Images look perfect. Thank you for the nice work
Can i get a quote for 50 photo's and another for say 250 photo's.
This site used to do great work for reasonable prices. They now do mediocre work at astronomical prices. Work I had done before (literally, the exact same thing as my computer died and I needed the edit redone) in 2018 was $25. They came back with $50 9 months later--the exact same edits to the exact same photo.
I was at a photography conference and someone mentioned they'd asked for their 6 products to be grouped into a single shot (stock cosmetics on a white background) and they were quoted $95. $95! Sorry, that's not even competitive anymore.
There's too many editing shops to go through one that wildly fluctuates on pricing and quality, and has no interest in even trying to retain their previous clients with the courtesy of a price increase that is under 100%. It's crazy.
I am working on a project for our local church and I needed the background removed from the picture that I was going to enlarge. I suggested a dark blue and a lighter blue background. The pictures came back perfect. The pastor reviewed the pictures and wanted a lighter blue background. I sent a sample of the light blue that I wanted. I wanted 3 pictures: 1. The sample I sent; 2. Lighter than #1; 3. Lighter than #2. I sent the email on 1/1/20 at 10:58 PM. The email notifying me of my completed revisions was in my inbox on 1/2/20 at 6:12 AM. That is an outstanding turnaround. Fixthephoto provided excellent customer service and I highly recommend them for your photo retouching.
Honestly my 10 year old could edit a photo better than these lot! The work you see advertised is nothing like what you get in return. Dont get me started on the SPAM I got after signing up to their website. Confidential my $#*!! Every day I have a new friend request from their 100+ fake advertising workers on my Facebook account and their even trying to add my friends and photo clients. Ive reported them to the ICO for breaking GDPR privacy laws! Hope they get fined or shut down! They write so many bad reviews on other photo editing firms, trying to make out they are the better option. Shows what their like! After looking around on a few facebook posts, I found loads of bad reviews on them with the same complaints as mine. AVOID!
I needed a service to edit a family photo and the team at FixThePhoto did an excellent job - my final photo looks perfect! The cost was very fair, turnaround time was less than 24 hours and I highly recommend this company.
After a little confusion and a little pressure, I was able to get some acceptable results from them. I would use them again for future projects.
Their services seemes too good to be true and when looking at their previous work on the website, I already elt like this wasn't the place that could help me but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake! Their "colour correction" is basically lightening the skin of the subject. Instead of making a persons skin colouring more pronounced or "deeper" they go the easy way (like many other businesses) and whiten the skin!
I placed an order for basic retouching and received an invoice approximately 24 hours later that was incorrect and needed to be revised. The incorrect services were applied and there were basic arithmetic errors in the price breakdown resulting in an incorrect total. Without going more detail, the entire process took one week of back-and-forth emails wherein, using broken English, they completely ignored what I was saying and sent me more links to the incorrect invoice. Eventually, I gave up and went elsewhere.
I needed photo-shop editing for a family photo and the team at Fix the Photo did an excellent job - my finished family photo looks perfect! The cost was very fair, turn around time was less than 24 hours and I highly recommend this company.
After my wedding I had lots of photos that needed retouching. Fortunately I found the website that helped me to improve all valuable moments of absolute happiness during the most important celebration. The result was really great. They did everything fast and qualitatively.
