After a lot of research on resume/LinkedIn writing services, I made the decision (and recommendation to my sister) to move forward with Find My Profession. Her resume and LinkedIn look awesome. Mine is so-so and I've since had to delete a lot from the LinkedIn that I didn't believe was professional, accurate or written in a way that sounds natural for the industry I work in.
First, my resume formatting is fine, but I don't feel it tells a cohesive story. I think this is a result of a lack of understanding of early stage tech companies on my resume writer's behalf. I also think that it was prioritized for search at the expense of readability.
The LinkedIn is what I am most disappointed in. I felt the some of the design and writing style was distasteful. To use an example, my LinkedIn title had illustrated gold 'stars' in it, and the summary is rife with capitalized text.
After my edits, it's altogether fine, but nowhere near the $1,000+ I paid for it. Again, my sisters was good, so your mileage may vary.
If every resume writer who works under my profession is as qualified, creative, and thorough as Virginia I understand why this company has such a great reputation. Thank you for the high quality work! I get a lot of confidence in myself every time I look at the resume they made me. It is nice to see all of my hard work and professional experience formatted and summarized.

My experiance with my writer is 1-2 stars. The fairly decent end product is the only reason I'm rating 3 stars. When I first consulted my writer, I was given a 5-7 day timeframe for the resume. I reached out when I still hadnt heard anything by day 9 and I did not recieve it until day 13. To say the first draft of the resume in question was ruff is an understatement. I can let the general errors and unnessessary info slide but there were entire sections and key words that shouldnt have been anywhere near my resume. These keywords not only had nothing to do with my field but are only ever used for a very specific field and I was astonished that a "professional" resume writer would randomly use them. When I asked her about it I was told she got me mixed up with another client and put their information on my resume. My confidance in my writer was very thin as we moved to my LinkedIn profile which I was told would take her a day or two. I didn't hear from her until three days after she should have had it done saying she still did not have it done. And a few days after that, still having heard nothing, I called support asking for a different writer. Unfortunatly the person I was talking to blew me off and informed me they reached out to my writer who wanted to call me. I asked what that would accomplish and again I was brushed off and they ended the call. 5 minutes later my writer calls me and lo and behold she just happened to be working on my profile right then! Everything was finally done two days after that and luckily I found no errors with my LinkedIn but then again, Im not great with resumes and stuff hence me using Find My Profession. Everything looks fine to me, certainly better than what I could have done on my own but based on my experiance with my writer I can't tell if her writing skills are as bad as her realiablitity.

I was able to navigate the site easily and select my resume writing service. I sent a follow up email to Lindsay as I hadn't heard from anyone after 48 hours of paying for my selected service and sending the necessary material as requested in the first email (all within 24 hours). She immediately responded and later the Executive writer emailed me (all within a few hours of my email) Andy was knowledgeable and a great help to a novice just entering an Executive level. He walked through the why's of doing something and how it would benefit me to have it written as such. The same with updating my LinkedIn profile. I really appreciate a company that is knowledgeable and generous on the whys (especially when you're unsure of what is supposed to look like)

The writer seemed slightly disorganized. My resume had typos and inconsistencies.
I was asked to provide all the content and wording for the resume which was pretty stressful. They basically just copy and pasted it into a word document template.
I would definitely advise against using this service for how expensive it is. Maybe if it was $100.

It's just a lot of money and for someone who doesn't have a lot of cash to throw away I'm worried I'm making the wrong move. Will change my rating at a later date when I've received the resume.

After using this service and receiving the resume I can say that, overall the customer service was meh at best. I was often left in the dark and didn't know what was happening. Plus the lady who was working on the service was very negative for, at the time, was a kid who was entering the workforce and was wanting to help boost his resume. The resume was okay, but nothing super special and definitely not worth the price.
BTW idk why the site is saying they tried to "help" me. More like bribe me to look at the company, then remove my review for a 50$ Amazon card. Overall, I wasn't scammed but I'm not going with them again in the future
