Mostly useful
Overall, this seems like a helpful addition to the tree planting process. However, our nuisance gopher (or a rabbit) has already chewed through one of the straps and the gloves are too large for my hands. It's too early to tell whether the root booster will be helpful, but it's nice having these tools for extra support to get our little tree started.

Kit would have worked better if the tree had higher branches to hold the braces in place. The base protector didn't work great.
