Bush arrived yellow. Compared to my expectations it arrived poorly shaped.
Looks great. Smells even better. Thriving in my kitchen.
I had to replace my twice, so three trees in today, and despite following the instructions to the letter, and having the third one tended by a master gardener from Florida, all three died. At least two of them had citrus greening, so I assume that was the issue with the third one too. A very expensive experiment that failed.
It dropped a significant amount of leaves the first week after transplanting. Not looking healthy. Fruit dropped all but 1. Flowered 4 buds then dried up. Following all expert advice on caring for this type of plant. I have had no issues in the past with my previous lemon tree I had for 20 years indoors showing I do know how to care for citrus bushes and trees indoors in my south facing sunroom. This is a replacement after 1st one did same thing and died
I was happy when it first arrived, but it seems a little shocked and wilted. I'm hoping I can nurse it back to health.
Been in my apartment in Harlem NYC for about two weeks, my Meyer lemon bush seems to be doing great so far, time will tell.
