This is the Facebook page of Athens Nanny Central - which I started up partly as self promotion when I was living in Greece for 6 years. I have kept it going despite leaving (and returning yearly!) Athens, since I know Athens well, and now help other nannies and parents to find each other.
I post all kinds of information and advice about children and childcare, and related subjects. In the future I would like to expand this to a real business and move up from giving free agency links, to being paid for my advice and help.

I guess the lives of women children fathers Brothers Mother's and children many many lives have been taken from us because of Facebook I have written the Facebook over a thousand times because I am pleading and begging for them to close this stupid site down that is the cause of so many deaths they don't care they see a little girl that hung herself because she was getting bullied on Facebook they didn't take it down a father takes a bunch of pills because another guy on Facebook told him to do it so he did one of my best friends cut her arms open because her ex called her ugly and posted her naked pictures on Facebook and she reported it to Facebook and Facebook said it didn't violate their standards because that's all Facebook is is a bunch of pathetic useless pieces of $#*! who don't care about a child's life or well-being they just take such pleasure in seeing everybody's pain and seeing all these deaths caused by this pathetic useless $#*!ing Facebook bull$#*! one more little girl hurts herself over Facebook I'm going to take the pictures from the newspaper and offline and I'm going to post them for the world to see and you know what's sad even after I write this review Facebook won't shut their account down because they have no compassion for human life just a pathetic ongoing $#*! with Facebook how many more children and women fathers uncles Son's will die because of this pathetic useless Facebook bull$#*! they have no compassion for children are human life they don't care that people are committing suicide they don't care that people are hurting themselves they will continue on leaving Facebook open because they have no regard for human life

I had't had any problems for years on facebook and one day they just up and locked me out and never told me why just some crap about me not using my real name.And I have tried to contact them over and over for 5 months so I could explain I'm using my native american name instead and anyone I want to know my facebook page knows my name so what's the issue.And I tried proving my name and they keep saying my state ID is not showing what they need and I fallowed every step by step to the tee and they keep saying they can't reopen my page.And I gave them what they asked for I even tried one other way they said that would work and the same thing again. I also called all the numbers I could find that says they connect you to their help center I either never got anyone that never picked up and another time a machine said I'm sorry we are no longer taking calls at this help number because of over flow of angry calls hmmm G I wonder why.And another number that said official facebook help center number I called it said I'm sorry this number has been disconnected WTF Facebook.And there was also a news story about a native american taking facebook to court over the fact that they wouldn't allow them to use their native name on their account that's just $#*!ed up. They've lost my business because I've lost some important information I had saved on my page in my messages.So either get it together facebook or end up like myspace not used and is old news or just quit if you can't run a good product for everyone I know I'm only one of many people not happy facebook not happy at all.

Overpriced and really bad customer service. Lighting is terrible, poses are terrible, backgrounds are terrible and your face will be badly photoshopped to compensate. If you complain about her, or don't like your photos - then tough luck. You will never hear from her again. This photographer ruined my chances of work and did not give a damn. Lost money on this lousy service. Just because you have a fancy, expensive camera does not make you a photographer. Hopeless and completly unsympathetic. Do not engage with this amature photographer you will end up regretting it.

We provided software for this business for a one-time charge with no annual support fees and free software updates. As with everyone the agreement is that there will only be a charge for contacting us for support (by any means for any reason) when contact is made. We heard NOTHING from this person for 6 years. Recently she asked for assistance and was charged $10. To avoid paying, she first claimed that the instructions she received weren't helpful. The instructions were helpful which is aside from the point that she contacted us for support and in doing so, required someone's time to respond and was rightfully charged a meager $10. When her argument was refuted, she then resorted to claiming to have had problems with the software. It was pointed out that free software updates had been available at any time and her decision to not upgrade was not our responsibility. She then resorted to writing a seething review online flaming about how terrible our service is. Quite an effort to save $10.

Facebook is good as a tool for marketing, keeping in touch with otherwise unreachable people in your life, and broadcasting the occasional "how are the roads" when it snowed the night before and you're debating on whether or not to go to work today... but anytime I spend more than ten minutes at a time on Facebook I get tired of seeing people posting memes (as if a picture of a Minion somehow affirms what it is they're trying to say) pictures of kitty cats, posts complaining about their relationships, and pictures of the food they just cooked. Your mileage may vary, obviously...

I tried to log into my facebook account for the past week and they have up some fake message blatantly saying my computer is infected and that I'm required to download some unknown antivirus program and scan my computer with it in order to regain access to my account. This sounded shady to me and I didn't trust it one bit, and don't trust downloading anything to my computer on a whim like this anyways. So I did a thorough scan on my computer with my own antivirus and it came back clean just like I suspected. Furthermore, I googled about this and found that a lot of facebook members have (and are still) being shown this same bogus message and having their facebook accounts held hostage! I also read stories where people downloaded this facebook antivirus and then were hit with sales messages left & right to buy this shady antivirus. This a flat-out scheme and I hope some authorities crack down on Facebook hard for trying to drive fear into the public by putting up blatant message (not even suggesting) but flatout telling people that they're computer is infected and that the only way to regain access to their account is to download their antivirus!

This is bull and I have lost total interest in facebook after this. Glad I really didn't have a lot of pictures and personal information on facebook, never believed in that, so I can walk away from this shady social network and not miss a beat. But I feel sorry for the people who feel helpless and muscled into complying simply because they have so much of their lives tied up into some third party social network that they neither own or control. If this is not a wake-up call not to get so wrapped up and submit so much of your personal information to these social networks, then I don't know what is.

I never really seen the purpose of social sites to start. They are a waste of money, and draws scammers, stalkers, hackers, and thieves. It's just as easy to write down information on calendars so you don't forget, there are also programs on your computer that reminds you of important events. If I was an employer I would steer clear of those that use Facebook. Employers are always complaining about employees playing with their phones, yet they continue to hire people off of Facebook. It's easy to do a search on the workforce sites. Lazy hiring practices, and lazy employers as well. Myself, I'm not going to work for a bunch of lazy, unprofessional people. Considered disabled by law, and you can pay for me because of bad business practices. Lol

I checked it out, not what I would call beneficial in any way.
