Facebook is very good for some purposes. Very bad that it is now combined with Google. In the news it has been reported that they take down anything related to what interests gun owners or anyone getting interested in guns. I searched for how to clean guns. Literally maybe 50 U-Tube videos would pop up, and I would have my choice. All were very similar, but with differences. They show how to lubricate, but choose different methods and lubricants. That is just one example. Travel videos on U-Tube were taken down and replaced with paying companies. For example, when I would search for Colombia, I used to get a lot of sources, including individuals who would tell their experiences. Now, one can not find those individuals unless one puts in their names. Instead you get magazines and professional articles trying to get you to go to their attorneys, real estate agents, etc. The information is designed to get you to buy products to find out more. For example, they say that health care is excellent, and some basic financial information, but no specifics unless you subscribe to a magazine; and even that is not focused on any country, only all countries. Probably, they provide more sources of information for which you must pay for information. Facebook and U-Tube must be looked at with a skeptical eye, and closely regulated by government and others. It is as if there were only two or three newspapers, and more were not allowed. Today, there are only a few news sources, but there is competition despite bias. Facebook and u-tube has competition locked out to a large extent.

I started to write negative comment, but then stopped myself. Is it soooo bad? Just to mention, that Facebook connected me with my now husband. For that only I must glorify it forever and I will, but I really don't see how could it be helpful nowadays. I connected with everybody I wanted to be connected and can call them now. What else to do there? I really don't know. Time waste at the best. Sorry Facebook and thanks a lot. My husband is great.

Decentralized blockchain social media and torrent tech are replacing big tech monopolies re. Search engine, wifi access, video sites, crypto currency etc. Big tech censored platforms are going bye bye. FB already pulled the trigger on itself - it's bleeding out now. Kids not using it - oh oh! Remember AOL, MySpace, Netscape and the ongoing Yahoo implosion? Block chain is the future and nobody can own it! Even telecommunications will lose their CARTEL status.

I have been banned from facebook for my conservative views and my support for President Trump and his administration. My description of 'illegal aliens' was deemed hate speech while every description of our President by the liberal community, hollywood, and the liberal media is far worse. President Trump is working tirelessly to put America first and these liberals and their media are doing everything possible to derail his efforts. When I expressed my views on this on facebook I was banned from commenting for 30 days. Is there no media outlet that supports our President?

I was recently referred to this site for support as a child free by choice woman engaged to a single father. This site does allow women in my position to experience and express the authentic emotions that result for women in my position. I know this through reading the threads. I would never post anything in this one-sided source. We are told to essentially suck it up and quit being the wicked stepmother. Yet... a biomom is able to write a post wishing her ex would have a crappy marriage because she is jealous of the new wife. All responses in fact SUPPORTED this petty outlook and comment. Your organization is continuing to promote behavior and stereotypes like this. You have lost both my support and respect. No apologies from this gal.

I hired A-S Contracting (owned by Sarah Crawford Toland) to remodel my condo on Canandaigua Lake. I dealt with her employee / live-in boyfriend / baby-daddy - Al Bosley (who I later found out was using hi dead father's name because he was a four-time felon who was forbidden by the Attorney General from doing any contracting work in New York State.) They took an initial deposit of $8,000 and then a progress payment of $8,825. I am out of state and when I arrived 3 days prior to when the remodel was supposed to be finished I was devastated. They butchered my home. Live wires dangling, plumbing was not functional, building materials left out in the rain and snow... I have lost more than $25,000 total due to this company. I took them to small claims court and (they know how to work the system) they got the case postponed after I flew in for it and now they are counter-suing me because I did not let them finish the job. An inspection by the Better Contractors Bureau said they had no idea what they were doing and they had not used licensed trades-people.
