There are so many scammers on facebook with fake profiles. A woman messaged me on facebook and we got talking, she asked if I had hangout and told me it's better to chat there. We got talking, exchanged numbers and was so fond of each other. 2 weeks later she started asking for money, I believed the reason why she wanted the money then sent to her, A week later another reason why she needed another money and she kept asking until I became suspicious and had to do some investigations about her. I hired a private investigator who deals with recovery of scammed money who found out she wasn't real and was faking to be who she claimed she is. I felt stupid and told him to recover my money. He successfully recovered my money and made sure her account on facebook got deleted. We all need to be careful of the friend request we get and chat with on facebook. When I first joined the site (and by extension, got the app), the site was pretty cool and I mostly made a profile so I could play games (this was back in 2012) but that was before I figured out it could be a good way to stay in contact with people from my past (I was reunited with a sister through Facebook). It seemed like a pretty fun place.

Now, onto the negatives. Besides the privacy concerns, the site (or, rather, the app) has gotten to be more buggy and it keeps getting buggier and buggier with each new change. Adding onto this, we have the issue of the mods not doing anything about hateful/abusive posts, spam posts, or the CP, let alone, the hackers, among other issues.

Look, it could be a nice site but, unfortunately, the landscape has changed since I first joined.

The secret of success is hard work. When you're hard working you will surely achieve your goal. True Success does not happen over night, it comes as a result of diligence and deliberate calculated action taking to do what others are afraid to do. If you have the habit of asking the track record of others before embarking on adventure, you will never succeed in life. Trust your instinct, counterfeit can never exist without original. Be wise in your decisions making before you cry after had I know.

I joined Facebook 10 years back when some known person introduced me & requested me to join it. It was all trust that mattered to me and as it was a new social platform that helped many of us to connect with our lost & old friends.
But by time I felt the loss of trust and misuse of our personal info & I almost lost the touch with FB.
Now as am unable to complaint or send feedback to Facebook for what they doing is really intolerable.
Mentioning few of the important things that Facebook need to take care of is would be very good for many users as well:
Kindly don't send me notifications to post on my timeline.
Kindly stop suggesting friends online to me as am really not interested in it, same goes in the newsletters and notifications.
And I only respond to friends sometimes as am not regular on Facebook and I love commenting on their posts, but I get the comments of all the people who comment after I've commented on the same post.
And also I get notifications of Pages whom I've not Liked or followed.
Trust is Must for me. Let's face it.
