The most horrible experience ever, they do not provide the service they offer, and they do not refund either. I have reported the transaction as fraud to my bank
I've been waiting for 9 months to unlock my Samsung galaxy and they always sent me the same answer, "the process is 99% complete, be patient. We cannot refund your money back " I traveled and my phone continued as usual. Now they don't answer me. I lost $129.99. Don't fooled. You've been warned. PD: I can show you all the 9 months conversions if you don't believe.
Take your money then bull$#*! to you and never do anything, constant excuses and when you question them they block you from chat so you cant contact them anymore
They initially charge you a small amount, just to turn around and tell you them some more to fulfill the process. In our top of that, they say they can't fulfill it without the premium service of over $300. What a scam.
They run both Direct Unlocks & Express Unlocks.
A lot of their reviews are clearly fake.
The sales pitch is along the lines of 'a couple of clicks and can will unlock your phone'.
However when you try is a bit of a bait and switch from one screen to the next. On the next screen the fee only covers the 'eligibility checks' for $29, which is mandatory, and then in a much lighter grey font the smallprint says they'll charge you another $50 for the actual unlock if you are eligible to do it.
This has many issues over just the scammy design of the webpages:
1. The mandatory 'eligibility checks' are free on other websites
2. The 'eligibility checks' don't actually check if your phone can be unlocked. If there are payments outstanding on the contract for example, the phone passes the checks but fails the actual unlock.
3. They will try to keep your money for both the $29 and $50 if your phone fails to be unlocked, instead issuing a credit note.
4. If your phone is actually eligible to be unlocked, then it would have been free to do it directly with the carrier.
The funny part is that as soon as you pay the $29, you receive an automated email explaining the scam. So many customers complain that they save time by just instantly telling you your been had and that you need to cough up the extra $50. They highlight with a screenshot the fine print you missed.
The sickening part is their efforts to try and gaslight you into thinking that they are a legitimate service. They really are relentless in this regard.
I got my $50 refunded in the end by calling them out and demanding it else I would escalate it to numerous online fraud agencies. I'm happy to leave the $29 as a lesson to myself to be more careful of scam websites in future.
This company is a scam!
I have paid 25+70 $ for nothing!
Just to learn that my phone is locked!
Yes it is! That was why I asked their services! For a 6 weeks stay in France back in June… so that I could be able to use French SIM cards…and they are still asking me to wait for being eligible!
They keep denying my claims and requests for a refund! They are thieves!
Express unlocks is a scam their support chat is a scam, they send automated fake replies, their website is full if fake reviews, they robbed me of 80$ to unlock a device that is still locked, they scan your imei and bring up your device and make you think their legit but they're not
This company advertises that they can unlock the device for GBP23.99, after submitting details and paying the amount they then try and extort a higher amount out of you to actually unlock the device and not just tell you you are eligible. With the extra higher payment it will work out higher than the cost of the little router I wanted unlocked. **This is bad faith business practice**
