I applied for a position as a freelance writer and spent more than four hours doing it as I passed the grammar test and wrote a 2-page essay. Days letter, I received an email from them claiming that the reason for rejecting my application/evaluation was that the job flow was low, which is different from me not meeting requirements. Afterwards, they blocked me from the site. If they knew that they would not need writers because of low flow of jobs, then why bother leave an opening for writers to go through the fruitless hassle of applications. If I met their requirements, they would have just accepted and had me hold on till the season picked up. I would have gladly waited. Now I have to wait a whole year before applying again. This is unfair and a disservice to people who dedicate time and resources to the application process. I probably won't waste my time there again.

I was stumped for time and requested a paper at 6pm with a deadline of 9pm. The writer claimed she had a power outage and then asked "Is the deadline fixed?". She was obviously struggling to finish, so i tried to cancel the order and they wouldn't let me. I contacted support and they said they cant refund because in the chat she said, "Midnight?" and i didn't answer she assumed it was midnight. So basically she came up with her own deadline and then told the company it was fixed even when i had not approved or physically changed it.

The writer was waiting for your replies to the questions, however, you did not provide them with a feedback so they assumed midnight would be sufficient. We believe that they were working on the order offline and uploaded the paper when the electricity became stable. We suppose that the misunderstanding occurred between you and the writer. In order to prevent such issues, we advise you to discuss the issue with the writer on the bidding stage or during the progress."

I've been a customer of essayshark for a couple of years now. Recently I was banned from my account for suspicious reasons. I was not able to find out those reasons were due to security purposes. Customer service was rude and not helpful at all. It's a shame really. You guys focus on customer satisfaction yet you guys are quick to ban people for no reason. I did not receive any warning not ONCE. Avoid this website at every cost! You have been warned...
