I have been on a few dating websites and have been underwhelmed by the quality and character of the people on these sites; i heard an on a radio station that elite singles was supposed to be better and would match you with like-minded, educated, quality people; i'm not vain but i am an attractive person and i patiently waited for responses and i began to experience what others have described - there are NO matches, NO ONE responds to you, you can actually hear crickets chirp while you are browsing through this site; some profiles are NOT active, a substantial amount have NO photos, it is definitely a complete waste of your time and money - keep scrolling through to other sites; i paid an good chunk of money for nothing; again, considering this company is a complete waste of your time and MONEY, DON'T DO IT

Don't join elite singles. Most of the profiles on there are not active, and most don't have a photo. I know because they started matching my profile with people before I subscribed and I had no idea I was even receiving matches. After I subscribed, I received maybe 2 email responses in 2 weeks, as compared with about 15-20 email messages in the first few days on Zoosk. I'm also not convinced of the science behind their "matching" system, since they matched me with men on both sides of the spectrum in all 4 of their personality categories...

I signed up with Elite thinking it was going to be a great service exclusive to paid members for starters. Well, that was a scam to begin with, and the matches are not very good. I chose a certain ethnicity and have been matched with about every type.

I'm on Elite, she signed up for Silver Singles. From what I can tell there are other sites that use the same subscribers that get mixed into a large database for various sites.

Imagine if I we were not divorced and both happened to sign up, and then be matched this way! Lawsuit city...

Elite Singles is a total rip-off, charging a hefty amount to have supposedly more professional (elite) members selection, which is not true. Selection is comparable to many other sites, and a much older set of people.
Elite also doesn't allow enough options in terms of member profile visibility, activeness, etc. This restricted my flexibility in managing my dating options. In finding and exclusively dating a person very early on into the 6 months membership I signed up for (for budgeting reasons), but still in the beginning stages of dating the person, it would have made most sense to be able to disable/deactivate my account temporarily. In case things do not work out, I could always reactivate/enable my account as 6 months is long time.
Customer service was very rigid and not helpful when I described this situation, nor in providing any type of refund. In order, for me show that I wasn't actively still searching on this app so that the said person I'm dating could have faith in me, I had to fully close and terminate my account with no options of returning.
Terribly restrictive, conservative, old-fashioned, rigid dating app that I will never return to!

Don't waste your time with this site. If you're serious about finding someone, don't let their ploy about "a more educated crowd" and "people looking for a serious relationship" fool you. Using this site was a complete waste of my time and money. Their Customer Care is a joke and unwilling to help. Not to mention when you ask to speak with someone else, they simply stop responding to you. Seriously look elsewhere before using this "service".

I am not sure whether this is a scam, or whether this is a real company. There is no phone number or email for this company. I have singed up after reading that this is a good dating sites. They changed me $173 before even allowing me to go on the site. Once I did, I found out that the men then connected me with have nothing to do with the qualifications that I have noted looking for. They are asking you hundreds of questions, to make you believe that they would do the right match, but while I was asking for a man 5'9" or taller, then matched me with men 5'6"; asked for Jewish, and they matched me with Christian; asked for professional and they matched me with blue collar. There is no place to call to complain, no email. Nothing. They just charge you and then do not provide the service they describe as providing. This is a scam and hope that not many people will fall into the trap. When I called Paypal to get the refund, I was told that the small printe covers Elite and allows them to charge people for a service not provided.

I am disgusted by this website's actions.
I had spent 4+ hours making my account and after answering hundreds of question in detail I finish the account add pictures and such and find out that they ask for payment. No such thing was mentioned about paying to use on the commercial, main page or anywhere in the sign up. They do this disgusting scummy trick of making the person signing up, spend hours on their profile and once done spring 15+$ a month mandatory and the reason they don't mention payment until you are done with your profile is because they pray on the user getting attached to their profile and the time they spent on it and not wanting to lose it. I tried the "free" version which was horrible, almost no matches within 50 miles and all their pictures where blurred out until I pay money for a paid membership. SMH. I really wanted to give them a good try and after putting my credit card on the payment details I got the 15$ per month option ( 12 month membership) and they charged the card all 12 months at once instead of doing one month at a time, I then contacted the support requesting a refund and they said NO. They did something illegal and refuse to undo their actions. I now have filed a dispute with my credit card company and am waiting to get my money back. I would rate them less than 1 star but there is no lower value to rate. I was going to delete tinder for this app and was looking forward to it very much but after this I feel violated inside as I was looking forward to using this site very much. I highly recommend you DO NOT use this site or anyone they are connected to, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you find true love with a company that is honest and true to their word.

Good luck) Pure is paid for membership (they state that before signing up) (tinder is free and usable without spending ANY MONEY but they do have a paid option if you want to pay for additional higher quality options)
