They state it clearly on their site that they are giving a 7 day free trial. But once you go through the trouble of providing your cc info and registering it is as if you didn't have to login at all. The content is the same with locks in all the places that a subscription is supposed to unlock. This is unethical and a a waste of time. I would stay clear as there are much better alternative paid sites.
A company is only as good as their customer support and educative.io just proved how unethical they are.
Here is the story.
Almost 7 months back I subscribed to their 1 month subscription (on my part it was a mistake not to realise it was a recurring one). I got the below email confirming the order.

Hi...,
Thanks for choosing Educative for your learning needs. Here's the order confirmation for your subscription to Educative Unlimited.

There were no further receipts from them for the 6 months that followed. I realised almost after 7 months that it was a recurring one. I raised this with their customer support requesting a refund which was first rejected and then taken to their management for approval and it was rejected again. Now, one would presume they would have done their due diligence before rejecting my request but I guess they did not. I never used their service after the first month's usage and they should be able to corroborate that by verifying the access log from their end. Now with all this knowledge (that it was genuine mistake from my end for thinking this to be a one-time payment and that I haven't accessed their service in the last 6 months) any company with moral and ethical values would have refunded this but they decided to keep the money. I will let everyone else decide if this is a company you would "educate" yourself with.
As previous reviewer wrote. Almost like a scam. Very short trial and charge you with the highest possible default (two years).
They claim to offer free trial, but once you enter your card digits, it appears to be just a clickbait.
I guess there is not much to expect from these guys. Looks like yet another scammer in the internet.
I would suggest to steer clear. Unless you want some bad experience.
