Beyond disappointed!

I Ordered and paid for flowers for a visitation service. We received an email that day a few hours before the service that the flowers couldn't be delivered! If you can't deliver on the day of the service you shouldn't be in business. At least we got our money refunded, but would have preferred the order was actually filled.

We completely understand your frustration. Please try and understand that Echovita is an obituary website, not a florist. Your complaint is more so directed at the local florist who was assigned your order. If the local florist wasn't able to fulfill the order, they should have notified you within 24 hours of placing the order, so that you had enough time to try and find another florist.

Disappointed

Ordering was easy. The arrangement that was delivered was not even close to what was displayed on your website. I was very disappointed. I would not send flowers this way again.

Would like to have gotten a delivery notification. Have no idea if they were delivered to funeral home or not, unless I missed a correspondence. Cannot ask family member in their difficult time...that would be rude.

I placed my order through the funeral obituary site. The so called link led me to believe it was a local florist. It was not local and Echovita called to tell me the order would be canceled because they weren't able to deliver the same day of the visitation. My money was promptly returned. Which I appreciated. I then looked up a different florist in the town where the funeral was and they were able to assist me over the phone and even texted a picture of the arrangement sent! Overall interaction was good and prompt but didn't like being miss led!

I was called the day of the funeral to be told the florist doesn't deliver in that area. I clicked on "send flowers" on the funeral history me website. Very disappointed.

Met expectations

First time using Echovita, I was skeptical on using it. I am used to using florists. Easy to order on line and I actually did get confirmation from the actual florist that created my flowers. My flowers did arrive at the slated time. I would use Echovita again.

Sad at the Funeral Home

It was sad going to the calling hours for my friend and the flowers looked awful. The arrangement did not look like the picture on line. The picture on line had beautiful fresh flowers. None of those adjectives applied. The flowers were already starting to sag. The bouquet was full in the picture but not at the funeral home. The vase was larger than the bouquet. It was a sad day at the funeral home. I won't order again!

Will never use again

I never heard of Echovita until it was shown as a link on the funeral home website. I figured it could be trusted since the funeral home recommended it and I would give it a try. I set up delivery of a floral arrangement for a memorial service. The service was on a Wednesday at 3pm. I placed the order on Sunday. The order was accepted and my credit card billed. Tuesday at 9am they called to tell me the floor arrangement I ordered, which was a standard item listed on the website, was unavailable and would I agree to a substitution of a floor basket. I agreed. Wednesday at 9am, they called to tell me they were unable to fill my order and it was being cancelled and I would receive a full refund. The order was placed 4 days prior. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. And for the record, I immediately called 1-800 Flowers and they were able to find a florist at 9am the day of to make a same day delivery before 2pm.

First, Echovita is an obituary website, not a florist, nor does Echovita appear as a florist on funeral home websites. All flower orders received on Echovita are processed by Blooms Today who then assigns the order to a local florist near the delivery address. The local florist contacted you regarding a substitute for the arrangement you selected, then they contacted Blooms Today the next day to inform them that for whatever reason, they wouldn't be able to deliver your order, which is why you were informed your order would be cancelled and refunded.
