This app worked well until the started censoring what information we could see. The only reason I used this app was to find uncensored information so I could come to my own conclusions. I have now switched to the Brave app where I can still find un doctored info.

Deleted the app. App not as promoted as it fell along the path of censorship in America that has run rampant these last 2 words. Losing trust more and more by the second.

I am terribly disappointed in this company's decision to control search information by altering its algorithm to begin down ranking sources that promote Russian "misinformation." Users don't need DDG's "protection". Users can make their own informed decisions about the validity of the information a search produces. This is nothing more than DDG putting it's finger on the scale of their search results. This calls into question DDG's whole operation. With this type of Big Brother control, it especially casts doubt on DDG's claims of privacy for users. If users wanted a search engine with this type of limitation, They would have stayed with google. Go woke... go broke. Changed to Brave FDDG!

I have used duck duck go for years but their decision to join the cancel club put an end to that. USE BRAVE BROWSER AND SEARCH!

I have used DuckDuckGo since its inception. However, now that it has become "woke" and has chosen to suppress or down list searches based on "misinformation" I am permanently removing my support and use of a service that believes it is a better judge on content than my own judgement. You guys at DuckDuckGo just blew a good thing.

Duckduckgo no longer supported free speech and started to censor search results. I recommend using Brave Browser as the last hope.

It was only a matter of time before they showed their true colors. Ban anything and you're done! Duckduckgone!

Just another corporation that sold out to government. May as well be Google. Untrusting corporation.

On doing research... if appears this search engine may have relationship with CHINA... which explains the Russion propaganda (found on: https://southfront.org) which article after article is repleat with blantant lies... it's like you're reading live Russian TV! If this is the case... how can you be certain "what you see is what you get" when this search engine makes all these claims about security?

You have the best privacy policity are the result in basic search are great, but i really use a lot's the search engine tool and your results are just bad.
In important search i always keep google tab open and the indexing in subject like programming, etc. are just way better

I really wanted this to work and I hoped it would be a good product. Maybe it is. In my case, it just isn't any good. I would be using any of my browsers, Firefox, Safari or Chrome and it crashes each one within 5 minutes of use.
I hope that you have better luck with it. Me, I am over it.

Privacy has become very important nowdays, and will be veeeeery important in near future. Duckduckgo has accomplished being browser that respects privacy.
I now have duckducked about six months and have found all info i need just as easily as any other browser. All this without worrying agent smiths that tailed me when i didnt had this awesome program! So i thank you developers, you deserve to be appriciated!
I encourage everyone that dont like 'big brother' following every letter you type try this browser

Ok l, who ever is behind this YOU ARE MY NEW HERO. Just FYI, I got your site from the Canam.com website. The founder on that site talks about many things. The one thing he does is, encourages people to do their own thinking. He stands behind the constitution and supports people who want to be able to express their values. He believes that we should actually have and maintain our values. He is the one that gave this app to his audience. I believe he is of a like mind as the majority and he explained why he switched to DUCKDUCKGO in detail. I'll spread the word. I am an educated, God fearing, optimistic woman. I hope I can do my part to support you!

Duck Duck Go is a very decent search engine. Unfortunately, it is being sabotaged by the internet monoply holder. I can say this b/c I am a witness... apps and sites that refused to work for me on my smartphone while using Duck Duck Go had no issues when I used Chrome! We have no more rights anymore, and the Internet being allowed to be controlled by one leach has made it so that discrimination, lawlessness, cheating and stealing is accepted out in the open.

While I appreciate the privacy that DDG provides, I'm noticing that when I search for certain news articles on subjects, the first ones that come up are the lesser known media with an obvious agenda. This makes me doubt that DDG has no agenda of its own. Moreover, the articles are always opinion pieces and editorials rather than simply news articles.
