I called DCP and Shane answered, I explained that when I was a kid I had a Tama kit with deeper toms compared to the toms that are popular today. Thats when the history lesson began, I was floored, wow these guys really know their stuff. So after a couple of calls I was ready to order. Shane even haggled with Tama over the finish I wanted. Even more recently I explained that during practice I had experienced a hardware failure. Shane calls Tama and secured me 2 replacements that were already on back order for Tama themselves... received in less than 48hrs. These good people can move mountains and make the impossible possible. I had also found myself needing cases, I sent Shane an email and said, "I'm not even going to try." Attached a list of all my drum sizes, and explained the level of protection I want, and he did the rest. A week later 7 cases and 7 bags were at my door. A couple of the cases weren't in stock, he had SKB ship them direct from Orange, CA. And everything arrived at the same time! You will know what a VIP feels like with these guys.
