I feel like doublelist replaced Craigslist after they closed the casual encounters. It's very easy to use and they have done a good job of expanding as the number of users has increased. The only 2 issues I have are the fact you can only attach one pic when responding and the fact that the dates aren't accurate. If a post was created a week ago, the date will continue to update to the current date.
I joined a couple of months ago and could not message anyone. I went to your help line at least 6 times and got one answer which said the problem was fixed and still can not message anyone. The only way I could connect was by posting and have them contact me. I know this is a free site probably with limited staff, but your help line doesn't work.
If you are the mood…Doublelist is a great place to check out. I've met lots of really cool folks and had some great encounters.

Signed up and sent out over 100 messages to women. Then I received a Hi message and it was a hooker who couldn't give me proof which message I had replied to, something tells me it's must have been a guy or some of those people in the backend. As many people noted this site is basically geared for gay men, or basically for men looking for men, all women posts are bots generated. Look in women for men, a listing doesn't have a time stamp when it was posted. Then take a look at gay for gay and you will notice a time stamp. I went ahead and got a friend and she created an account and posted, and I responded to her post. Message/email never came whatsoever. Then we both looked for my posting, we responded to it. Her message didn't come through, but mine came through responding to my post. That's my quick review I did, i didn't test out all the rest of the groups, but for the ones I tested, am 100% sure of my findings. Unless you are looking for man to man or along those lines, don't waste your time. They want your phone and email yo sell them.

I have found lots of nice guys here. Very few flakes or picture collectors. Most guys seem ready to meet up for whatever they are looking for.
I haven't hooked up yet but it's not because this site I could have a few times it's a great site the way it's set up and all just simply look through the adds and send a email to anyone you want to connect with
