Posting is easy and the new filters make it easier to find someone near you. Getting a full description of people helps when trying to align things for both people's interest. Downside is there's a lot of people who just send messages and waste your time so the emails back and forth can get annoying. Also use a fake email cause it will show your REAL name after sending 2 emails.
