2 days passed but I still can't manage my domain. Also taxes where not shown when you gave me final amount to pay, you shown only amount before taxes. All these things create bad experience for me.
Im a beginner so Im a bit lost but learning as i go...
Recently purchased a domain, rabinowitschag.ch, and WordPress hosting from Domain.com, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I made the purchase, I encountered a series of troubles that persisted despite numerous attempts to seek assistance from their support team.
The first issue I encountered was incredibly slow website loading. Before reaching out to their support, I had already taken all the recommended steps: clearing cache, deleting plugins, compressing images, and more. However, their support simply reiterated the same suggestions, which I had already exhausted. It felt as though they were not even reading my messages. Despite their claim of fixing the problem, my site completely stopped loading the very next day.
Upon reporting the new issue of "Too many redirects," I was met with resistance from their support team, who insisted the problem was on my end. I had to engage in prolonged arguments to convince them otherwise. Eventually, they reluctantly made some changes that temporarily resolved the issue. Unfortunately, it didn't end there.
The performance of my website continued to deteriorate. Half the time, visitors were greeted with an "Aw snap" message, and it became impossible to rely on consistent page loading. Every time I reached out to support, it felt like I was caught in an endless loop. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get them to acknowledge the problem, let alone attempt a fix. As a result, my site began redirecting visitors to a non-existent domain, rabinowitschag.com, which I did not own. It was a bewildering and frustrating experience for both me and my visitors.
Even when they did address the issues, new problems arose. My main menu started displaying vertically instead of horizontally, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't find a solution. Their support, after much delay, eventually provided a fix, but the performance of my site remained subpar. It seemed that with every interaction with their support team, a new issue would surface, trapping me in an endless cycle of problems and inadequate resolutions.
After seven long months of agony, I made the decision to switch providers and used the All-in-One WP Migration tool to transfer everything as is. Surprisingly, without making any changes to my site, everything started working perfectly. This clearly indicates that the issues were indeed on their end and not due to any fault of mine.
Frustratingly, when I approached Domain.com for a refund, they insisted it was impossible, citing that the issues were my responsibility. This blatant refusal to take accountability for the consistent problems I encountered further exacerbated my dissatisfaction with their service.
In conclusion, based on my harrowing experience with Domain.com, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their services to anyone. The technical issues I faced, the unhelpful and unresponsive customer support, and their refusal to acknowledge their own shortcomings have left me deeply dissatisfied. Save yourself the frustration and seek a more reliable and customer-oriented hosting provider.
Not easy to navigate. Cannot find the link to associate the website to the domain name.
I bought a domain from you, but it isn't active, and I can't build the site I want to build
Trying to get support for editing website, unable to get assistance
I had all of my information that I wanted on my website, and when I went to preview everything, nothing was on the website, even though I saved each time.
I am fine...most importantly you are simple...ok...
Thank you!
Shady $#*! business... Purchased 2 domain names for 5 years. Now telling me I need to pay more to register 1 of them...
I'm getting an error while trying to access my site to manage and update. Don't understand the response given to try and correct or reach my admin site features.
Updated email address and system still send info to incorrect address
I wish the site was a little faster when updating a registered domain name...but, overall, the site has been very effective for us.
Great interface and easy to use instructions provided
I don't understand why I experienced such a difficult time with the validation of my domain. Hopefully, I'll be able to access my domain with no problem after this.
I was chatting with the best person ever, with lots of patient and care. Thank you very much
We are having ongoing issues with our email. Some emails are just not going through.
First it was our emailed being unset because it was on a blocked list.
I requested help several times and was told informed they would rotate our IP address. It kept happening and after the 3rd or 4th request for help I was informed a more permanent fix was in place, that the server was being moved but it would take a couple weeks.
Now we are getting a new error:
Connection refused due to abuse. Please contact your E-mail
Provider.
Although I received prompt attention in the chat feature the problems are persisting so I can only give 2-stars at the moment.
