I know all satellite TV is expensive. Please explore ALL OTHER OPTIONS! Signing up for Dish Network was the easiest thing we have probably ever done. After paying for it for over a year, we decided that we never watched the dish, we used mostly streaming. Trying to cancel it was like trying to write a thesis in one night. 57 minutes on hold. When John finally came on the phone, he just wouldn't give up. He kept telling us that he had to wait for an agent for him to move forward with the cancellation. He wanted to know the weather, 5 times he asked us what we liked about dish, now he wanted to offer us a reduced priced package. We told him SEVERAL times that we don't watch TV, to please cancel. Finally, after 1 hour and 20 minutes, asking our address again, he said he was shipping return boxes to us. Now we will see if we get them. Oh, and they offered that greatly reduced package if we stayed but charged full termination fee because our 2 years wasn't up. Be careful people. TV isn't worth it.

Finally they showed for a install had dish in past all they needed to do was install boxes they found a bad wire from dish to house so they layed the wire on ground over driveway across lawn and across the sidewalk bad trip hazard for myself who is disabled and my 85 year old mother called and was told I'd have to make another appointment 2 weeks out for them to look at it and they moved all tvs out from wall and left everything out including ther mess and old wires not a nice experience along with the danger they left me with I have photos of everything

I had the rudest customer service rep, Ben based in Arizona, when trying to cancel my Dish service. After repeating multiple times why I wanted to cancel, he gave me some bs go around and judgmental comments about what would I do without the tv service. He was horribly impolite! Glad I'm canceling- Dish should do better with training their reps when customers want to cancel. If I could give zero stars, I would!

The cable goes out, half the channels I pay for never have the satellite signal. Every day I have to restart the box just to watch anything, and whenever I use it, I click on a show and it don't load then I hit guide and it says I was on a whole other show. Like I click on channel 150 and it says I am still on the $#*!test channel it was when I turned it on, by that I mean when I restart it. I have been using hulu and Netflix more lately. Will NOT recommend to others and I will also be letting them all know how $#*!ty the service is. Yall used to be good years ago, I switched when I moved and now I will end up switching to spectrum or something else because this is NOT WORTH the hassle.

I have been wanting to cancel my service now for two days. They put me on hold and no one ever answers. If you call and choose the option to upgrade your service they answer right away. They are disgusting liers and they need to be sued for trapping people with their service.

I unfortunately signed a 2 year contract with Dish and have had interrupted service over 50 times. My contract is up in December 2023 and I can't wait to get rid of this horrible company. Never ever again will Dish ever be in my home. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO DISH NO MATTER WHAT THEY OFFER YOU. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

$104/MO TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS?!
We have been customers for 5 years. So much for that!
I paid Dish the $50 service call to have my receiver moved to another part of my house.
After waiting the 5 hours window, the tech never showed. He claimed there was a different address on my account. That's weird! The DISH bill can find its way to my home every month, but the technician cannot?
I called Dish to ask them... anyone to get in contact with their Tech Dept/Dispatch.
6 transferred calls later (and having to explain myself each time), and 2 hang ups, I sat on hold for 1:18:17 to speak to someone to say, "JUST CANCEL MY SERVICE!"
Dish can forget about any type of contract we had with one another since only I have been holding up my part of the service commitment. DISH BREACHED THE CONTRACT, I WALK AWAY. PERIOD.
DISH's customer appreciation monthly fee must start at $105/mo.? Therefore, my $104/mo. Payments can be better served by any of Dish's competitors.

Been on the phone for an hour trying to move my service to a new location Still no one to help People speak very broken english so it is hard to understand them This is by far the worst company there is for customer service I think I will switch service to someone else

Dish devices frequently lose connection to the Dish service. Unplugging a device usually restore the connection, but you miss several minutes of the show or sporting event you were watching.

We have had dish for years so we got my 79 yr old mother to go with Dish, who had Comcast and constantly having trouble with. Well the hookup person came and added all kinds of things she didnt need. Called my husband and said she had already paid 300$ and got a email she owed 500$ my husband told her not to do nothing he would come on his lunch break.Git on the phone and the installer had installed 30$ HDMI CABLE AND SOUNDBAR AND ADAPTER TO AND SOMETHING CALL A. PEARL CABLE 90$. She said he ask her if sound bar sounded good she said yeah, she said thought it came with it. We have had to call twice today they never sent a box for her to return it. My husband ask to speak to a person in charge on hold never git to speak to anyone. Very disappointed in Dish might have to rethink our business.

Don't live up to their commitments!

Arrived around 9 AM. Left around 4:15 PM. Couldn't get internet access in master BR. Apparently the Hopper only gets you the access to that 1 TV. So I asked for the Hopper added for the master BR. It would have cost $568. I said waive it or forget it, disconnect and reconnect back to what it was. They won't reconnect! They were going to try reconnecting but they didn't even try. Thankfully I didn't cancel my old provider but I DID Have to call to schedule for my cable company to come out to my house to reconnect me! And they left the Dish still connected to the house! Horrible! DO NOT EVER GO WITH DISH EVER! NEVER AGAIN!

Worst Company Ever

Do not use Dish network unless you like being ripped off. My bill jumped $50 in two months without any changes to my service. Channels are constantly out because of dish trying to rip off the networks. ESPN/ SEC networks went out for two weeks at the beginning of college football season. They go to extreme measures to keep you from canceling your service when you do decide to cancel. They offer worthless short term discounts to try to keep you from canceling. I was on hold 4 different times for a total of 1.25 hours when canceling my service. Then they want me to pay $20 a box to return their equipment that is between 7 and 8 years old. DISH NETWORK IS A BIG SCAM!

Even though they tell you that they canceled the account just like from 2/23-5/23 starting 8/23 they have started doing it again and I know this because I am a current employee so unfortunately you have to call every single day for at least two weeks to make sure that they have actually canceled your account

Forced to change to by complex where I live at double the cost of my carrier. Wifi stays out and it goes directly with my rent and they say pay the bill Give me a break Shady company go around the world 2 hours on phone with no resolution and Dishn truly could care less they get paid regardless if it works or not.Fraud...
