I have filed complaints with Washington State A.G. And Washington State D.F.I. Over the course of 2 full years, because my mortgage lender commits FRAUD, violating at least '2' RCW's as well as the R.E.S.P.A. And T.I.L.A. Acts which are federal laws written to protect consumers from FRAUD by mortgage lenders. Though there are more than 600 similar complaints on file with them currently against the organization, which is Newrez dba SHELLPOINT LLC, the state has not fined the company for verified breaches of the law. The organizations cited herein, both the Attorney General as well as the Dept. of Financial Institutions, both hide behind SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY, which means they feel they are 'impervious' to lawsuits or TORTS filed against them, simply because the State of Washington very aggressively protects 'negligence' and 'criminal wrongdoing' by it's employees who do not uphold existing State Statutes. Is this common in other states? I would like to think 'not' because I have lived in other States in the U.S. that 'aggressively' prosecute FINANCIAL FRAUD, such as was the case in New York years ago. I don't know if they care if reviews like this exist or not, but the truth of the matter is, they are so 'imperial' that they believe they can pick and choose which complaints against which companies they will prosecute or will not prosecute. Granted, it costs money to prosecute, but given that Newrez dba Shellpoint LLC is a 'target rich environment' based on the complaint numbers, both the Attorney General's Office and the Department of Financial Institutions could 'benefit' by upholding the law and keeping disreputable and scummy violators of both State and Federal Statutes, from keeping and using BUSINESS LICENSES in this State. When the law becomes 'an option' vs a REQUIREMENT, all citizens LOSE! D.F.I. Is another joke like the CFPB was. But we're done with these FRAUDS. DONE!
