SCAMMERS
I returned an order (with 6 items) and they send me an email saying that they have only received 5 of the 6 items. I am stunned because this has not happened to me in 5 years with amazon and with Deporvillage it happens to me in the second order with them.
I have to assume that it is a way of taking money from customers when they return products.
Of course they don't give me a solution.
Of course I will report them.
Do not do business with this company. They are an absolute scam. Trying to get a n 8 oz. Package, a fake Columbia jacket, was going to cost $240. They need to be shut down.
Ordered shoes and cycle cleats. Went up a size as recommended. Took longer to arrive than expected. Shoes horrendously uncomfortable and too small. Returned shoes for refund but what they do not tell you is just how much they are going to charge you in 'Administration costs'. I did receive a refund but minus a huge percentage of the purchase cost and that's on top of a large shipping cost in the first place. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU THINK THE SIZE MIGHT NOT BE CORRECT AND YOU MAY HAVE TO RETURN ANYTHING!
Urgent Warning. This "online trade" systematically steals money by not replacing returns. Questions are brushed aside with stand phrases. Since the company is based in Spain, it is increasingly advertising in foreign markets, as legal prosecution by foreign buyers is unlikely. Absolutely avoid - the money is gone!
Too bad I ignored the many warnings posted.
Maybe the warning will bear fruit and I'll spare others the total loss.
The returns policy at Deporvillage is scandalous. Read the negative reviews for all sources (inserted a few here below).
These relate almost exclusively to returns. Return rights are significantly restricted compared to German law and returns from Spain have to be paid for by yourself and are very expensive!
But now the perfidious game of the sender from Spain begins.
Deporvillage refuses to return money in case of return.
This is an incredibly abusive practice where Deporvillage does not profit from selling goods but from betting that the customer will send the items back.
I call that a perfidious double rip-off.
Very few buyers from abroad defend themselves (in court).
Don't make the mistake that I - like many others - have made.
Do not shop here!

VORSICHT IST GEBOTEN Ich habe ein paar New Balance Schuhe bestellt, die trotz Größenberaters VIEL zu klein waren. Der Rückversand nach Spanien (ökologisch unsinnig, steht aber nur im Kleingedruckten) ist selbst zu bezahlen! (EUR 15 +) oder wird alternativ angeblich über Abholung durch GLS für EUR 9,99! Organisiert. GLS holt mit einem Tag Verspätung die Ware ab.
UPDATE - Die Schuhe sind jetzt 9 Tage zurück beim Händler ohne Rückerstattung.
Ich habe den PayPal Käuferschutz in Anspruch genommen, da die Bearbeitungszeit "6-7 Tage" überschritten ist.

Das schwache oder nicht vorhandene Retourenverhalten ändert nichts am ökologischen Schwachsinn einzelne Artikel durch Europa zur verschicken und an den - aus deutscher Sicht - ökonomisch schwachsinnigen, weil immens teuren Retourenpolitik.
Ordered running shoes on August 28 and they accepted the order and charged my card. Then sent multiple emails week after week that there is a delay and finally told me that they do not have the shoes available. I was supposed to select a different color. I did and all of a sudden they wanted 30 more Euros. Customer Service is difficult to deal with. After 10+ emails back and forth with Yasmine I had them cancel the order. They returned the funds. Waste of time. Do not buy from them.
I would have expected that the company sends me shoes of the same size in a different color (after my approval) without wanting extra money! Deporvillage did not honor the original purchase agreement they entered with me.
After ordering an item accidently, I immediately rang them to explain the mistake, however the lade rude lady from their customer service department informed me that it was basically tough. She admitted that they had not packaged the item, but basically said that I had no rights. This company is criminal and does not abide by its own policies and more importantly, the LAW!
DeporVillage is a company located in Spain. When you select sizes they go by international sizes, not U.S. sizes. I ordered a Large. When I received the product it was a MEDIUM U.S., Large international. They did not make the conversion to U.S. and there was nothing on their website about this. When I tried to send it back to get a LARGE U.S. they refused saying it was my mistake. The shipping, no kidding to send a 1 pound package to Spain is $200. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not rocket science, if you ship to the U.S. use U.S. sizes. They are unfair and they are unreasonable. I would not buy a single thing from this company. They are tyrannical and look for opportunities to take advantage of you.
There website is simply not clear that there is 20% vat plus customs charges or that it is a company shipping from the EU. I will see what they say as it will get returned to sender and not reach me, but other eu sites make it very clear this will apply, they don't.
I imagine returns from the uk will be expensive.
BUY WITH CAUTION: Deporville have laid out their website to disguise the fact that UK customers are liable for Import VAT.
This cost me £45.85 on top of the £212 I paid for a Giro bike hemet.
When you get to checkout it even says "this is the total you pay"
However - tucked away is a vague piece of info about subject to taxes applying in the destination country.
Having seen the reassuring "this is all you pay" message, I foolishly thought that message was telling me not to worry about the small print.
What they are doing appears to be legal - but it is also deliberately misleading.

Terrible customer service, made my first order, I was reluctant to do this because of all the negative reviews but thought I would risk it, then the day after I ordered they reduced the price, I asked them if they would refund the difference but they weren't interested, wish I had ordered from elsewhere!
I recently ordered several Assos bicycling base layers from DeporVillage. The process was fairly simple and the price, even with the exchange rate was very competitive. They carry a vast line of cycling gear. The shirts came within 2 weeks after I placed my order in perfect condition. This is my first experience with them. While I don't like ordered from companies not in the USA, I have placed another order with them recently. Before I used DeporVillage fro purchases, I used BikeInn, based in Spain. The experience was terrible. I never received my order that I placed 2 months ago, More importantly, I have no legal recourse at all against them, they basically stole my money! That's why I usually don't order from overseas companies, but DeportVillage proved to be reliable. I recommend them highly.
