Hi
I am also a „victim" of this side! Joined before I search the reviews on the internet.
I received per day over 80 emails!
The "sender" where from all over the world and all ages.
The "credits" were running out like an electric meter…
Can I suggest that we all are making a complain at the police station of internet fraud!
This has to stop. The "police" should pin a red flag to this side if someone get it.
All the sides who use cookies should ban this side for advertisement!
How many people should fall into this trap……
Think about it that this side exist for 7 years – how many of us were ripped off.
Since then I get lots of Advertisement: Be aware that Dating.com works with the same system. (looks like they are the same company/ Register Address!)- stay away
It awful. They keep billing for what you've already paid. Everytime I try to get in they want my credit card # again as if I never gave it to them! So I can't see anything. I could go on and on! Don't join this website. I'm trying to figure out how to cancel my membership. They don't make it easy!
From the second I joined & had thousands of impossibly beautiful women contacting me. Ridiculous to think they didn't have partners. Each time I logged into the site, behold ANOTHER bevy of beauties (a third of my age) proclaiming 'undying love' for me. All of the contacts ignored completely my location so the exercise was a waste of time
I've joined this site 3 days ago and suddenly got so many handsome guys keep sending messages. So out of curiosity I've paid S19.99. I was shocked to see those messages by automated bot. When we chatted, they can't write proper English!I. I a want refund! I don't deserved to be cheated! It's a fraud!
They start sending automated fake profiles, and their team start working the account to drain your credits es per email or text response so all the alerts are fake and managed by the site personal to get yoru money. And of course they will never agree to meet you since they are all fake. Scammers nothing more.
Stay away, scam, scam, scam. I was notified by my credit card about multiple unauthorized charges to my account. When I called them they claimed that all charges were made by me, but some were even made from Malta. And I'm I. US, Florida.
I think it 's a scam. It seemed the men in this case were not real. Sometimes I would ask a question to the person and the response had no revelence to the question. I contacted datemyage and they blocked me. A couple of the men had the same responses. Then I thought maybe they had choice answers. And I can go on. There needs to be better laws in place
I was completely unimpressed with this site. The matches seem fake and I feel they were keeping the conversation going so the site could charge you more, so you could purchase more credits. I spent almost $70 for one evening. It is completely not worth it.
I have paid 89.9 to subscribe the app, then the people who you talked to like been trained work for the app, only talk in here and after few messages, if you want to talk more, then you need to buy credit to chat with them, and it consumes by each messages, totally scam and wasted time and energy. This app should be banned.
Just trying to do as much damage as possible before getting shut down. This is just some really messed people testing waters of basic hacking.
This service is more like a scam, so please do not waste your time or money.
It is also very expensive! It starts at the rate of $19.99 and then you have to keep paying for the next email or message that it comes.
Also, most of the profiles are fake and people are living in other continents.
Basically, bombarded by handsome men from all over the country. All looking for "serious relationships." Don't do it! Every time you run out of coins (which you need to respond) you have to keep purchasing them to keep the conversation going. I've already spend like 100 in 2 days so I'm deleting my profile. They must get some commission because I offered my number and I got the no don't you think we should get to know each other first? Ching ching more coins lol don't do it.
Be careful A member will invite you to a chat and reel you in Then once you are talking they well conveniently have no way to talk in another platform. Before you realize if you have spent hundreds of dollars trying to communicate. The site should be investigated and a class action lawsuit should be brought against them. I encourage anyone who has been scammed to report it
I do not have a single photo on the site, I got over thousand men replied. I could see that 99% are players or scammers mixed into it. They are all over the world even age 20 and I am 50! The worst of all that they have sales person keep sending you those images of men they said they selected for you! Then, I am tired to reading it as let it go directly into my spam. The false of marketing that does not bring any good outcome. If you like to play with escort, this might be the site to play with. I surely am not interested in wasting my time for it. I no longer want to believe meeting any men on internet as 1 billion lost on romance scam from IC3 report, I do not have that money to waste on any scammers on cyber world. We should all turn internet off and find someone in real life by joining a new social event or learn a new class, I am tired of looking at those internet photos making me sick! Are your ready to move out of internet world?! Since 1995 from bbs if you are old age like me that you would know, now the social media is the cyber crime bedding into it! You will only lose your heart and money on internet so do something about it! Find a real man you can touch and see and hear today!
The dating site DateMyAge is a total FRAUD, I met fake members who are the partners in robbery with the scam site administration, together they ripped me off $25 within only 18 hours. After I did a search for members in Thailand because I wanted to retire there, 2 men in Bangkok messaged me. One of them, Hong, purportedly a chef in Bangkok, bombarded me with emails and chat messages. I could not resist the temptation and bought $25 credit to chat with him. Strange thing is he was always online in the same day time with me, and kept writing emails and chat messages, but in Thailand it's their night time. Since I always stay up late in night, I found when it's day time in Thailand, he was always offline. Every day the same. It means he actually is located not in Thailand but here in my time zone. I asked him if he needed to work as a chef day time, he would not answer me. He always dodged my questions about his personal life, but talking about he is always traveling in Europe, he would take me there. I gave him my email address, but he said he would get to know each other better before go email. Now I was sure he is a total fake, an agent of this site. And then another purportedly Thailand guy at first marked himself in Bangkok, later changed it to New York, probably realized that he was writing to me only in my daytime. Finally a very handsome, purportedly Arab man in a Arabic country contacted me, and he was also only active in my dame time zone…I chatted with these three guys and suddenly found my 50 credits had become 25 within few hours. Then next session I only sent 2 chat messages, the chat messages were supposed to cost 1 credit only, but my 20 credits were gone, only 5 credits left. Then the last time I logged in, I did not send any message, but my 5 credits were all gone. So within less than 24 hours, all my $25 was gone. I contacted the site, they said I chatted live on video with Hong, but I only sent chat messages, never went on live chat with anyone. The site gave me back the 5 credits. But I never used that 5 credits, because by now I am quite sure all this site is a TOTAL FRAUD, and they would rob me off my last penny just by logging in. I wonder if there is any action I can take to get my money back? Too bad I didn't read any review when I bought the credits.
Update on October 26: Even the complaint process is a fraud at DateMyAge. They say if any member is fake, we give you money back. However, when I tried to fill out the complaint form, found I need the member IDs for the fake members, but those members' ID could not be found on their profiles. I asked the DateMyAge support team 3 times where I can find their ID, no response. So my compliant can't be filed and I will never get my money back. It's a total fraud, not only members, but the dating site itself, are a total fraud. Through this fraud they are robbing your money people.
UPDATE...
Before I wrote my review I call them to CLOSE my account and returned the second charge and I had to wait for that to happen.
After that I went on the site and "DELETED" my account. Since then every time I open my computer I get a message on the lower right corner (as you can see on my attached few pictures)…So I concluded that my account was never closed as I get this messages every day. The massages don't come from Datemyage but from Google letting me know that I got messages otherwise I would never know my account still open for others to see and believe the company have a big database.
In my opinion is a misrepresentation of that company.
Today 9/16/22 I sign on "DateMyAge"@ 4:52pm for a total of $21.91... At 5:49pm I was charged another $104.28... my credit card text me about the first charge and then the second one. This site charge you for messaging to anyone, they charge you when they message you and they charge you when you message them. Then people in here that message you ask you several questions before you answer any of them therefore the tab keeps going.
I didn't know and that's why in less than an hour I had another charge for $104.28...
I immediately notice the scam and called my credit card but it was still pending so they advice me to call back the next day and to call DateMyAge and ask them to reverse the charges. Because I realized the scam so quickly they refund me the $104.28 but not the $21.71 and I'm ok with that.
What saved me money was the fact that my credit card text me of the charges immediately and that's the way I have all my credit cards.
I WILL ADVICE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME WITH YOUR CREDIT CARDS TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY SCAMMERS... AND TO NEVER SIGN UP TO DATEMYAGE!
These people are all fake. They all work the datemyage site. They are Filipino. Stay alway. Just taking your money. This one is Luciana 38. This one doesn't excist.
I've only been on this site for a few days. Every guy on here is either a Doctor, Military or an Engineer. Their pictures seem to be straight out of GQ. I've been there, done that. I can spot a scram a mile away
This place is a scam, needs to be report it. Fake profiles, check yhe pictures, they use the same horses, every picture look professional a lot of millionaires looking for ladies from another cultures. Just drain your money seriously.
Answer: It seems they are hiring professional chatters that are commission base paid. I am reporting them to FBI
Answer: They charge for everything, and the person I was having the conversation with, would not want to exchange anything that would allow to continue a different way of communicating such as what usually happens after feeling comfortable, texting, phone conversation,ECT.,she is only looking out for this site
Answer: Because it is a scam. Some profiles are online 24 hrs.a day. Others list gifts they want. Some gaul. May even be AI generated scam.
Answer: That is the Scam the get paid the more credits they can get you to buy. The entire site is a scam I promise don't waste your money. Dating.com is their other site and it's the same. It's sad all the scammers out there.
Answer: No they only will give you the very minimum info on them and they just keep sending you emails that cost the most to read and send. Their job is to get you to buy credits and they say all the right things to keep you interested.
Answer: They never give refunds it's a scam site the people you talk to are employees the more money you spend the better money they make
Answer: From my experience as a paying member over 15 months, I learned that the most important thing is to check how the platform verifies identity in practice not just in policy. Here’s what I recommend other users do before investing time or money: 1. Ask directly for a video call early A genuine person will usually agree to a quick call, even a short one. If video calls are always avoided but emotional conversations continue and that’s a red flag. 2. Check the profile ID across platforms If the same member appears on multiple affiliated sites with the same photos, bio, and ID, it may suggest profile replication across a shared database. That doesn’t automatically mean they’re fake but it does mean the platform should clearly explain how profiles are created and verified. Remember, real people are not afraid of basic transparency Even a 2-minute call or voice message often reveals everything.
Answer: Hi David, When it comes to dating and relationships, personal preferences vary widely, and they're influenced by individual experiences, interests, and values rather than broad generalizations based on nationality or background. People from all over the world, including Europe and the U.S., form meaningful connections with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds, including Nigerian men. At the end of the day, attraction is based on personality, shared values, and mutual respect. While some may have certain preferences, others might be more focused on qualities like kindness, intelligence, sense of humor, and life goals. It's important not to get discouraged by stereotypes—authentic connections are built on getting to know each other beyond nationalities and appearances. If you're interested in dating someone from a different background, it's always best to engage openly and honestly and to find common ground.
