Such nice quality yarns and a nice variety of high quality fibers. The Yarn Of The Month Box is suuuper fun too! I highly recommend you check them out. The facebook group for their monthly box is one of my favorite social media pages as well. It really is a fun experience all around and I've thoroughly enjoyed all the fun packages I've gotten from them over the last few months.
I just finished my first monthly project, a small colorful cowl. I love that everything you need is in the box! It was fun & easy to complete! Thanks Darn Good Yarn!

I received my skirts within a week of ordering and they are beautiful. I purchased them as gifts and the recipients love them. And, I can't say enough about the exceptional customer service. I will definitely be ordering more.

Amanda reached out and apologized profusely. She promised to handle my exchange personally and ship it out first thing Monday.
I ordered 5 skirts 3/14/19 (buy 2 get 3 free promotion). They took a long time to arrive and I needed to return all of them to be exchanged as they did not fit the description I provided. I shipped them UPS at my expense ($26) and with the tracking info I could see they were accepted by "Snow" 4/10/19 at 11:17am. It is now 4/19/19 and I STILL have not recieved confirmation that they have been received, or that my exchange is being processed. I had to email them to request the number THEY require to avoid restocking fees. I have emailed them 3 times in regards to the status of my return and have recieved lack luster form emails in return. I tried chatting only to receive a generic "we're working on it and will send you an email when we process your exchange". I have reached out to no avail. The customer service experience I've had with Darn Good Yarn has been on par with scam companies that operate from China. I'm one Monday away from reporting the transaction to my credit card company as fraudulent. A little communication is all I have asked and I've been repeatedly ghosted.
I don't recommend this company at all.

New ti knitting and still finding my style
I was SO excited about my yarn I ordered 2 more! For a shawl - It was going to be a gift but I think I will keep it
I normally knit things requiring longer needles than I was sent but they are so cute I may have to knit some wash cloths! And haven't tried crocheting yet but hope to soon
So easy to say I loved my box!
Just got my box of yarn I so love that darn good yarn I love to crochet for my granddaughter and this will give us some unique yarns to use!

The subscription box is perfect for a busy and creative person such as myself. I've seen the ads on Facebook for it for some time and only recently ordered a subscription box. Didn't disappoint and will renew when finished with current yarn projects

I hadn't knitted in several years, i saw the ad on Facebook and thought this could be a way to get back into it so a am getting the box once a month with a project and yarn. It has the instructions in both knitting and crocheting. I haven't crocheted before but want to learn. Yay!

I loved my first darn good yarn of the month box. It included yarn, crochet hook and knitting needle set and it came with a mystery gift that I absolutely love. The yarn was super soft. I can't wait for next months box.

I couldn't believe how beautiful my 5 skirts and to my surprise they are reversible so 10 skirts! I hesitated buying because I live in Canada and the exchange rate makes them more pricey BUT they are worth every penny. Gorgeous fabric and colours!

My husband ordered the introductory box for me for my birthday in January. It came in a timely manner and I enjoyed what I received. I was excited to get the next box! He was charged for February's box on I believe the first week of February and by March 1st it had not been fulfilled. He reached out through email and was told there was an issue with their merchandiser and the box would come as soon as that was resolved. That's okay but in the mean time he's about to be charged for the March box with no indication when we would receive the February box. And they didn't offer to delay the subscription or give a coupon for our delay. I don't know anyone in their right mind who would be okay being charged twice and not receiving product.

I just want to say that darn good yarn is awesome! I have already received and finished knitting my first box! The yarn was honestly the softest thing I have ever felt in my life and that's what made knitting it so enjoyable. One thing I would say though is that the first box's knitting pattern makes the cowl curl up on the sides. It would have been nice to be warned of this in the pattern directions, but I guess I should have known since it was a purl/knit pattern! All in all though, 5 stars and I can't wait for my next box!

I ordered one wrap skirt and was a little nervous about not seeing it. It was a clearance one so I wasn't expecting great colors. It's beautiful! Teals and blues are my absolute favorites. I just ordered 3 more.

I joined the yarn of the month and purchased a yarn bowl. Shipping was fast and products were just a promised. Service and follow up is awesome. I had an issue with a coupon and it was addressed and honored promptly! I love Darn Good Yarn!

Answer: Hi there! Thank you for your comment. We had a month or so earlier this year when we grew a little faster that we could handle. We were unable to keep up with orders at that time and had to take a step back to catch our breath. We recognize orders were late and do apologize about that! We honestly don't add fake reviews, but we do ask our customers if they would like to leave a review and we have some pretty happy customers. May I ask, did you see reviews that looked especially fake, or were you on another site that stated something about fake reviews? We encourage all our customers to leave a review, and even the bad ones get reviewed as they really help us make sure we are as good as we can be. If you have any feedback I'd love to hear it. Especially sites like Yelp, we actually can't anything regarding Yelp reviews. Yelp is very strict about this policy to ensure no businesses can make themselves look "better" than the consumers believe they are. So the Yelp rating is a very real, very honest rating.
