I originally bought this item on 10th December on ebay, i purchased it on the wrong payment option(my company credit card) and that i fully admit was my fault. I realized my mistake and emailed to explain and also requested a cancellation within the hour on the 10th.if this had been actioned i would have just repurchased using the correct payment card and all would have been well. The cancellation was rejected on the 13/14th and the reason given was "it was already dispatched and to refuse delivery" well we both know that's not true so i was lied to by a member of Currys team on ebay
On the 20th it still hadn't arrived so i contacted ebay who looked and as no tracking was provided agreed it had been too long, they must have contacted yourselves for the details and today i find that Currys have only just dispatched it on the 20th a full 10 days after i asked to cancel the order and 7 days after i was told it had been dispatched and couldn't be cancelled!
I have all relevant messages on my ebay account and can provide to confirm dates and facts
Really bad customer service, you call to resolve an issue and you get told lay's, after you pay for you item good luck, there are to busy trying to sell you care package but not helping you, you request a delivery date which is available on there systems but in reality it doesn't matter it's up to them when you get your items.
I bought a tumble dryer, they send faulty one. Curry's blamed Sharp and tolling me to call Sharp. When I Called Sharp company they told me it's curry's Handling mistake, they can't help me. I paid to curry's and it's brand new. Curry's has to take responsibility.

Ordered Sony PS5 headphones for my son for Christmas and paid 116 euro. A stealth gaming station valued at about 40 euro arrived. Appalling customer service based in South Africa who can't help with anything. Offered exchange but can't tell me if it will be done by Christmas. Asked for refund. No refund until other item returned. Now I can't afford to buy headphones elsewhere. Absolutely appalling. They have effectively stole my money. Who can this be reported to? There must be some consumer rights that can help?
Horrible customer service! Does not listen to what I was trying to say. They shut the phone in my face 3 times! Spoke to 6 customer services and non of them did their job properly! I ordered a dishwasher and wanted to change it for the non-integrated one and they re-ordered the same product again! Then I had to recall several times to get the correct item. But I am refunding the item and never ever buying from Currys again! I Wouldnt NEVER RECOMMEND CURRYS!
Never normally shop at this cowboy store you can understand why they have been on watchdog before customer service is shocking everything about the place is so wrong never again
The issue that I have experienced was: My washing machine has started Knocking on the spin cycle, which stops the spin making a whining noise and moving out of the space it is in. I have contacted Currys on 3 different telephone numbers today - in total 7 calls - when they are unable to assist me they simply switch the call to customer survey and then the call ends. I was instructed to contact Samsung for an uplift number as they cannot collect the appliance till they have this - on contacting Samsung I was informed that since I have had the appliance less than 28 days I do NOT in fact need an Uplift number and that I need to contact Currys so they can arrange collection for refund/exchange.
It would appear that having purchased the appliance in store there is not a contact telephone number or email that one can use to contact Currys but one has to physically go into the store to deal with any issues. I am disabled and may not be able to get to the store in the immediate future so I requested that the fault be logged so that I am still within the time frame for a replacement/refund - this is not possible with Currys.
Having spent 4 1/2 hours trying to resolve this issue I have finally given up. I requested the contact number and/or email for their head office but apparently the staff are not allowed to give this to members of the public.
How in this day and age is there no way to contact a company apart from physically attending the premises - how is this disability friendly?
Absolutely terrible service. I received a much cheaper oven (35% cheaper) than I paid for. I requested a refund and collection of the oven. After taking time off work to accommodate their time slots they have failed twice to pick it up and I still have not received a refund. I have made multiple calls, nearly all of which prematurely disconnect. After loss of time, loss of income and tremendous inconvenience to myself I am still providing storage for a product I did not purchase, in a property undergoing renovate - I have to protect it from tradesmen, tools, plaster, paint, etc. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a company. They have no respect for the customer and their service reflects that.
My advice to Currys -
1. You need to employ staff who can go to the store room and bring the right product.
2. You need to own your mistakes and not expect to the customer to contort themselves into a cork screw in order to accommodate your screw ups.
3. You need a phone system that works.
4. You need to understand the basics of a sales contract - if the customer didn't get what they paid for, it's called FRAUD. You the company need to rectify it, not the customer.
I paid extra for next delivery. I've been in all day and was watching the driver on the tracking system. They did not park at my building and no attempt was made to deliver the package, very disappointing
The worst experience ever, I bought a Smeg kitchen which is faulty and I can't arrange an exchange. They keep saying they're going to send an email to exchange it but I'm still waiting for the email after 10 days. I keep phoning every day, same story. They are waiting for the order to reach day 30 so that I can't exchange it and they will then offer repair. They're terrible, $#*!en jockers - I'll never buy from Curry again!
Ordered a 65 inch tv arrived 3 days late leaving me having to take 3 days off work waiting each day on a delivery that never came while i dont fault currys for this as this is due to the DPD drivers i was shocked to find the stand for the tv was split in two forcing me to have to hang it off a wall. Called customer care and they had no replacement stands tv works fine and love the Oled vision but could of been better
Next day delivery is a joke. After staying off work to wait for it 48 hours later it's still not even been dispatched. I've made 8 conversations people have told me it WILL be delivered today. I've been told it's going to be dispatched today. I've been told it's manual and no one explained what that means. And Today at 11 am I've been told it's not even an accepted order. CURRYS IS A JOKE! I've shopped here for years. I've been lied too by your staff. Nobody has explained everything and they've not even refunded me my next day delivery costs that never happened. I've not even been contacted by Currys after emailing them and writing to them numerous times. No one knows what's happening with my order and no one will tell me the truth they are making a mockery out of me and their customers. Again I HAVE BEEN LIED TO! On 7 occasions… and now I have to take more days off work until it arrives! It's a gift for somebody that's now late as I paid for next day delivery when it was in stock and all they can say is they've had a technical issue.
If I could oi would give MINUS...
Bought a laptop from currys it take almost 4 minute to start up took it to curyys store In mile end e1 4uj the lady from the store had a look and still she would not let me exchange it or give me a refund saying its normal. Call customer service spoke to him 20 minutes almost and he says its normal to be late because its 4gb rm... seriously 4 minutes to start up is normal...
Would never go currys again and wouldn't recommend to any one...
Its a one way system for currys...
Their exchange and refund policy is rubbish, would not want to exchange or refund, beware...
Pls be advised that whilst you may not be happy when you make your call to Currys we are not here to be swore at, insulted or threatened and I am not stupid either. Its also impossible to try and help when someone is screaming at you
If you have purchased a PS5 from Curry's before the 7 th September. I know that you will be waiting for your console because I was told by Bolton gateway branch that your PS5 is more likely to be 8 weeks and I was told that they haven't even ordered the next lot Curry's are holding your money to make interest on everyone. Is it illegal for them to falsely say you have it in 10 days and take money out of everyone and then hold on to your money so they make interest of us all.
I had trouble with my tablet, it wouldn't allow me to send photos on messenger. I called into P C World Corby Kara dealt me promptly and sorted the problem in no time at all. Thank you Kara ten out of ten
I have ordered a camera for a job, the camera is in store, the store should be open, now after an hour waiting for my paid product they say the store is closed cause they are cleaning the products. The store has a bifig front with windows, from time to time a guy comes out for a smoke and that's it. I have called Customer service, they put me on hold and then just disconnect the call. And I have wasted half of my day and the job tomorrow. For sure I will never buy again from this company, and never waste my time.the way I did today.
Bought a Brother Laser printer from Chelmsford branch. It was a returned item from another shopper- but I was assured that the item had been thoroughly checked by staff before reselling. However someone put the wrong cartridge into the box. When I tried to get it sorted- the phone help-desk was hopeless. Need to travel 1hour back to the shop to get this sorted. All round a really poor experience.
Just bought - I think I did - a computer monitor from this excuse of a company. No confirmation email sent to me so far. Phoning results in a dead-end. The chat-box they refer you to appears to be non-existent. They could not try harder to ensure no repeat business.
Absolutely terrible experience for returns from an online purchase.
The item turned out to be faulty. I spent two days going through options on the phone which would end up with me being disconnected as the automated system believes its answered your problem.
I was only phoning as the chat service wasn't working, every attempt took me back to the page before (including when accessed off a Currys text that purported to take you straight to the chat service).
All of this was because the return email said to make sure that the parcel had the address on.
When i finally got to speak to someone they said not to worry there was no address needed as the delivery driver would have one!
To think i used them instead of Amazon to save £5!
Answer: They are thieves and take your money and time. Vampires
Answer: They have an automatic sorting process in place that takes several minutes to get through, you then get put on hold. Sometimes kicking you out before call is answered and you have to go through selection again. No direct numbers advertised to get you straight to right department, but they do exist. Ask for them once through to an adviser. It will save you lots of time when you need to chase them again. Music on 'hold' is distorted to annoy and frustrate you - close to mental torture! Advisors are following 'scripts' and are not 'able'/allowed to think for themselves. Be prepared to be put on hold and then kicked off the line. They told me they would order a replacement item 3x it never came. So were blatantly lying to me/stalling meanwhile processing refund. Once refunded they are 'unable' to help you with anything. Or is it unwilling? The whole process seems to be set up to deter you from continuing with your complaint. An issue that should have taken max 10 minutes to sort took 5-6hrs and it was sorted to their satisfaction not mine.
