I purchased a digital gift card to give to a friend. After being charged for the card, they haven't sent it to me. I have put in multiple help desk tickets, and attempted the resend button multiple times. They haven't responded to me. They can't even deliver an email, much less merchandise. Do not buy from CrateJoy.
I ordered two art boxes for my niece in mid October 2022. I got notification that the boxes arrived in late November (why so long?) but they never did! Nothing arrived until LATE DECEMBER. Now I sign in to the account and see they they are charging me nearly 100 dollars ( the boxes are less than 50 dollars) to get another box mailed to my niece in February. WHAT? I never asked for a subscription, nor would I agree to pay 100 dollars for an art box. This company is a scam and a nightmare.
Cratejoy will deny you the right to post an honest, yet negative review in violation of H. R. 5111 - Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016. They will not let you post anything less than a four star review.
They also host fraudulent sellers, such as "bloomin bin" and will protect these businesses no matter what they do.
Multiple complaints have been filed against them with the FTC and attorney general. Until they are shut down shop elsewhere!
I love cratejoy. This site gives you the option to see multiple subscription box options under multiple categories. Plus, it's a great way to help in supporting small businesses get up and going. I have 3 different types of subscriptions though this site and love working with Cratejoy.com. Some of the sellers on the site do not have the best descriptions of their products but when I asked questions under the "ask seller a question option", I would say about 90% of them got back to me within hours of my inquiry. On the other hand, some simply did not respond at all. Lets just say that these sellers were not ones I would consider buying from. I enjoy this site and I would encourage anyone to at least check it out.
