Was a good refresher course on laws, and justification of when to use force, even up to deadly force. Good info on how to descalate a situation.
He's an amazing instructor and relates what we learn to real life scenarios. He also makes sure we understand everything he is teaching us and encourages us to ask questions no question is a dumb question. As long as the class is he makes it enjoyable guaranteed you will laugh and have a nice time 10/10 recommend
Good I did not like the fact that the holster was ordered and the Florida and Arizona non-resident concealed carry were ordered without my permission
So far I'm loving this I was able to get my appointment the same day
Our instructor kept it interesting and very relevant to us. He kept people in line in class and was aware that there were people of all levels. The only thing we all did not know is that it would be an all day affair. It said 2-3 hrs of class then shooting. We had to wait in line at the shooting facility 2 hrs. Lucky it was at Heartland which was a great place to hang out. We all just didn't know it would take our whole day 10am - 4:30pm.
My instructor was Briana Tillman. She was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She was ultra serious about safety and responsibility. Though she was friendly and sociable she was a no nonsense Range officer. I have had many courses over my long life (I was the oldest in the class) but very very rarely have I had such a great instructor. She was vibrant and engaging and kept the classes' attention while being serious about imparting the information. I would highly recommend her as an instructor and if I was ever in a dangerous situation I would hope she was nearby.

Class flowed very efficiently with forms, lecture and videos. Lots of good information and both practical and legal.

Ralph made me feel very comfortable in the range. He explained how everything would go before entering and then gave us a lot of good information about carrying a firearm.

I am happy with the overall presentation of this course. Josh & Jennifer Drake both (as well as Justin Grigg) were well-informed about the content matter as well as having expert knowledge about the industry in general. This was a fun course and class participation was encouraged which also enhanced this course. As a result, I would like to begin the necessary training to become an instructor. I look forward to taking additional classes.
The friendly instructors give practical direction that fully equips students with the knowledge needed to complete the permit application process, and safely handle firearms.
Being a retired training coordinator from the LaDOTD with 20+ years training experience, I can honestly say. The three instructors did an amazing job at delivery the training. All were very knowledgeable and made the training session interactive by encouraging participation. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know cans and cant's concerning concealed carry.
