There was absolutely zero gun safety training, no live firing, no gun handling and no test. This was all scare tactics to sell more classes and gun safes. Should not qualify anyone to conceal carry. Nothing like my firrst conceal carry course. Total scam. Many negative posts on the Better Business Bureau.
I found that Mr. KC Brown is one of the best instructors I have ever had pleasure to sit for,
I say this because his style and delivery of information made the class interesting, as well as informative.
He was very thorough with his presentations on Gun Safety, how to hold, load, and proper firing stance, and the responsibility of owning a Gun of any sort, but mainly a hand Gun.
He also instructed the class on the Liabilities involved with owning a firearm, and what to do in the event you shoot someone and have to make that 911 call. What to say, the costs involved with the Courts and attorneys.
Where you can and can't carry in your City, Ammo that's allowed in NY State, but not allowed in NJ. Such as Hollow Point bullets etc. The permission needed To carry your fire arm to friends home or to many other Venues.
In closing This instructor gave me a lot of food for thought. Such as, do I really want this responsibility because there are Meany. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends who are interested in Taking the CC Class.
I'm new to gun ownership and these classes are the best! I've learned so much, I've told my daughter and friend they need to check out this program and on a personal note the instructors (speaker & actors showing scenarios) at CCU are the best!
