Had a great experience at the Carle Place class. As a gun owner for many years, the first day of class was all review for me, but an essential part of safe and responsible handling of firearms. The second day is where KC really shined, sharing personal stories and experience while engaging the class in discussion and debate. I have already recommended this class to my friends and family who are looking to ccw. Live fire class was easy, quick and efficient.

Without question our instructor was a professional. K.C. Brown delivered at and on ALL aspects as to what responsibilities one MUST accept should that individual be awarded our constitutional right to carry. Proper firearm safety and operation was continually emphasized. Deescalation methods toward simulated scenarios were collectively discussed. Legal review of must know Article 35 NY as well as Federal laws were highlighted. There was much more other than the obligations mentioned above. I highly recommend K.C. Brown as a firearm instructor. Looking forward to taking additional instruction he offers. Dr Tony M Ceccacci.

Although necessary, I was not looking forward to spending the weekend 8 hours a day in a classroom expecting a monotone teacher to talk at a classroom, however that was far from the case! My two day cc permit course was an interactive and engaging class full of information that I didn't know. K C Brown was my instructor and not only did he provide tons of knowledge and expertise but was extremely engaging, used real life examples and made sure to attend to each of our points and questions. K C would crack (actually funny) jokes to keep the class in a light mood and ensured that anything we will be tested on is discussed, while providing plenty of breaks for us to stretch and not get overwhelmed or bored. As a NYC resident the process of obtaining a CC permit is rather challenging but K C specifically made sure that we all know how to approach the application and responded to everyone's specific questions and needs.

For anyone looking to apply I suggest you take this course (which is cheaper than others) and based on what I heard generally higher quality. As I only took the class with K C I suggest you try to land a class that he teaches, I'm sure if you ask you'll get him.

The course instructor (K.C. Brown) was extremely knowledgeable on all of the topics and materials. He was also very good at keeping the class interesting and engaging the entire time! He absolutely went above and beyond in the class and made sure that every question was answered and that the material was understood as well while keeping the class moving in a timely manner. The material in the course was also very in depth and helpful. I truly feel that this course has greatly improved my understanding and knowledge of all of the topics provided. I have already recommended both K.C. Brown and concealed coalition to my friends and family and will 100% continue to do so!

The class started on time. The lectures were to the point and clearly understandable. We had a lively class who asked a lot of great questions. Only about 3 or 4 questions didn't get answered because they were questions for an attorney.
The class was actively engaged with both instructors which I observed were pleased to answer so many questions about concealed carry. I will be seeking out more on line instruction and live shooting opportunities going forward.
