My overall experience with Collectionsetc.com Has been Great I have enjoyed everything I have Ordered.
The English was so bad with the person handling my issue. It took several minutes to explain to him that I was charged twice for a product I never received. My original order had an incorrect item (item number and description weren't even close to the item I ordered), so the correct item was reordered by the cust serv rep but I was charged AGAIN. Second call was the guy who could not understand that I was charged again, I had to ask for a manager, sat on hold for a while, then he came back and told me that the item was on it's way and the 2nd charge was refunded. Very frustrating and I shop here a lot.
The delivery/shipping boxes are very shabby. The boxes are carelessly sealed, taped or closed and can be easily opened. When I get "any" Collections deliveries, I think, did a five year old pack and ship this? The box is falling apart. So irresponsible by whomever packs, seals and ships the boxes. Unless UPS reseals the box because they are so carelessly sealed. I do pay a shipping cost don't I?
I must admit, I am surprised I get the items I ordered and paid for. Besides it taking so long to deliver/ship/receive them, the packaging just makes you angry, to the point why do I even try to purchase any item in the first place.
Everything was fine, except I do not like the extra processing fee on each order, tax I can understand, no other company that I order from adds that extra fee on. I always check first to see if the item I am looking for can be ordered elsewhere.
Generally, most items are of good quality. Sometimes they are not so good. Reduced sale prices are very desirable and makes for great purchase especially being on a limited budget.
I contacted customer service to say that it seems deceptive to say free shipping, when actually not because a "processing" charge is added. They never responded.
Items purchased always look better than I expect them to be. The prices of items are reasonable and are well packed for shipping.
I have ordered several items from Collectionsetc over the last few months and been very satisfied with every one of them! I have been telling everyone about this shop. I love to check it out when new items are announced. This is a fun shopping experience!

Had a issue with one of the solar lights. It did not work we purchased new batteries and finally got three of them back to working with new batteries however one did not work no matter what we tried. They are sending me replacement ones to be sure they work for my garden area I was lighting. Very nice customer service.
