The Vineyard Napkin Holder and Salt and Pepper Set I purchased was for a friend. She saw the set I purchased a couple months ago, and asked if I could order one for her. In the order I just received, there were two scratches on the finish of one of the shakers. I switched it with one from my set. I was able to "fix" the scratches with nail polish and a shiny top coat. As both sets were well-packaged, I would say the "flaw" occurred during manufacturing. I don't expect to purchase "Lenox quality" for $14.99, but perhaps collectionsetc might recommend the manufacturer improve their quality control.
Well, I received one incorrect item, but was please to speak with a very nice lady, whom rectified the situation by allowing me to keep the wrong item, and sending me the correct item, very nice customer service.
