I am hoping these shams and chenille bedspread are the thickness I am expecting! There is no way to tell what the material feels like.
30APR2018 Growing up in the 1950s, chenille bedspreads, quilts, and featherbeds were the only bed coverings I ever knew about. The chenille bedspreads were so soft, spongy (for lack of a better descriptive word!) and thicker foundation material than today's. Again, I was greatly disappointed in the chenille bedspread and shams. The chenille decorative flowers were very pretty, thick, and colorful; but the foundation, the underlayment, was stiff and looked like unbleached ticking! I returned all and will never order chenille bedspreads online. I want to feel the bedspread BEFORE I purchase the product.

I received the beautiful quilt and shams. The king width fits my queen size bed much better. I have a deep mattress and box spring and the king width falls below the top of the bed skirt.
