I have ordered from Coffee AM for years. Sadly, several months ago it was announced that they were shifting the "roasting" part of the process to an outfit in Denver, CO. The reasons for the change given at the time were clearly bogus. Where it used to take only a matter of a few days to get an order, it now takes over a week. I've been waiting 8 days for my last order and they can't even provide me with an "expected delivery" date. This has become the norm rather than the exception. I would avoid these folks at all costs. Oh, and by the way, in the event you call to inquire, you will speak to someone who truly doesn't care.
I purchased 5lbs of Coffee from Coffee Am and it tasted burnt and had a horrible taste. I tried brewing the coffee in a Jura, press, and Aero Press and it always tasted the same, so I sent in a request to refund or replace the coffee and they have not replied.
The delivery was prompt. Packaging is appealing. The flavor and aroma of the coffee beans makes for a great cup of coffee. Water temp is always important when making coffee, as well as coarse or fine grind. I enjoy the 3 types of roasted beans I have tried. Looking forward to trying them all
I buy a few different kinds of tea from coffee am, and they have all been really good quality and the price is unbeatable. They also have excellent customer service and very fast shipping. Would definitely recommend!

Coffeeam is very good coffee. Very prompt service. Shipment arrive on a timely manner. Shipper lost my package once and coffeeam replaced it no charge.
Coffee beans they claimed to be espresso were an oily mess and worthless. They don't seem to care, though. For all of those who have expressed their displeasure or disdain for this company by way of reviews, you have probably noticed that they do not post your negative reviews, leaving new and unsuspecting customers to find out the hard way.
I have ordered from this co. For many years now over 30 orders and its always very good quality
That said they did have a bit of a prob with my last order around 16 aug 2020 and the email i sent went unanswered i grew concerned but they finally emailed me back and explained there was only 2 peps left able to work of there reguler 7 person staff due to covid and they where behind on orders and replies to email and phone msgs.
They were very nice and polite and professional and got me stratined out quickly.
Bottom line excellent coffee roast fresh to order and good prices:)

I've purchased coffee here for several years without a problem. However, after I received a notice from FedEx that a CoffeeAM box had been damaged and was undeliverable, I contacted CoffeeAM 4 times, twice by email and twice using their "contact us" link and never received a response. I'm out $65.95 on this order that I never received. In the future, I'll be buying coffee from a different source.
It's been FIVE days since ordering and no tracking, no shipping, no coffee!
When I called after four days to ask if my order was shipped all I got was "this place is crazy", one guy just resigned and it's a madhouse, etc, etc...
I again asked, when will my order ship? Website says I will get a EMAIL AND TEXT with tracking.
Nope got nothing.
Is this company a scam?

I ordered a 5lb bag of highlander grogg. I noticed right away that it had a thick, high luster coating on it. This coating thoroughly plugged up my burr coffee grinder in just a few days. I could not get it unplugged. The coating is also incompatible with coffee filters. My Bunn coffee maker would overflow the basket even when ground to coarse settings. I called the company, she would have to have a manager call me back. That never happened. After a week or 2 I wrote a review for the coffee on their site, they never published my review. They are cherry picking reviews to make their products seem better. I now have 5lbs of coffee I can not use. I wish I would have listened to my intuition and not ordered here.
I ordered the regular Colombian arabica blend in a 5lb. Bag. They answered my questions quickly, quick to ship and got exactly what i ordered. The coffee was some of the freshest and best tasting ive had in a long time! I will definitely order again. The price after shipping is very competitive to supermarket prices. Very happy with my experience! Thanks!
I think Coffee AM coffee is ok for the price. What I find "distasteful" is that they send me an email asking me to review my purchase. When I proceed to write something negative with regard to their product, they must have some algorithm that does not allow the review to go through. Pretty low for an organization. If you can't take the criticism you can't possibly improve.
On their site they post all good reviews first no way to go to the bad ones without scrolling page after page. But on the review sites on other websites the reviews are awful. And I have to agree. Three orders wasted money. Have to jump through hoops to return I am 80 and have no transportation refused to pick up and I would have to pay to send back and a stocking charge? What? You going to sell again? Or throw away and charge me?
No quality control just hype
This french toast decaf is the the most terrible coffee I have ever tasted. Bitter& stale tasting with a heavy chemical flavor. Undrinkable!
This place has the nerve to rub my nose in crap! I purchased $48.95 Jamiacan java.
It took a week for Fed Ex ground contractors to deliver to NY. Now the other day they send an email with the same coffee for $44.08. Ive been a loyal customer in spite of the lousy delivery service and most coffee tasting like burnt overpriced beans. I asked for credit for my next purchase and was told the good ol' saying, I'm sorry but we cant do this!
Hate to say it but their not the only game in town, You can et the same java for $37.95 including shipping at another site.

This is, by far, the most horrible coffee I have ever tasted. Having bought some delicious Salted Caramel Coffee while in Ohio last summer, I expected a comparable product from CoffeeAM, and ordered 2 lbs. Unfortunately, it in no way resembles a caramel taste. It actually smells and tastes like burned coffee beans blended with insecticide. Truly undrinkable and a pricey mistake ordering from CoffeeAM. If I could score a Minus 5, that would be my honest score. It is gross and disgusting stuff! Do NOT order from this company!

Great coffee choices of blended and single origin. They roast the same day they ship so it is very fresh! Very reasonable shipping in the U.S. if you choose FEDEX ground $6. Also choose type of grind or whole bean. Have not been disappointed yet. Web site reminds me of Art of Tea. Com except its mostly coffee maybe they copied them?
